Amazing brake pads. Terrible screws!
I was finally able to put these pads on my brakes and they are a godsend compared to standard or low-end brake pads. Compared to my previous standard pads, these offer immensely more stopping power. When lightly contacting the rim, the pads have great modulation for when you need to shave off a bit of speed going into a turn or when you're steadily coming to a stop. From this, I am confident that these will stop you and your bike quickly in an emergency situation if you really pull the brakes. It's hard to describe how good these pads are, but my bike felt completely different (in a good way) after putting these pads on it.My only gripe with these brake pads are the screws that came with them. Terrible! They had blue lock-tight on them and required 2mm allens. Three of the four screws rounded off and I had to yank them out with pliers. I removed the last screw with lock-tight and just cleaned the old screws to use with the brake shoes. If you are going to use these screws, I recommend cleaning off any lock-tight on the threads or using new screws from the local hardware store with at least 2.5mm allen or anything better (i.e. Phillips head, Torx head)

Simply the Best Road Racing Pad Available!!
The best modulation of any pad made today, and the fastest stopping power of any with out doing any damage to your allow rims!! I only ride these and Kool Stop as they are pretty close in performance, but KS tend to be grabby lacking modulation in compare, and have a rather long delay before braking in the wet, even though they do have some of the best wet stopping power available!! Bang for Buck I would have to say go with KS Salmon' s which is what I prefer on my cyclcross rig, while I run these only on my high end roadie loaded with Red componets for every bit of extra performance I can get, namely the better modulation, so that on fast down hill rollers in the rain SS do not lock up easily causing skids, like KS do. On the X rig though I have found I rather like that sensation given by the KS pads where skidding on gravel act.. is no biggie!! Can't go wrong with either product!

Best high-performance pad for Aluminum I've tried
After using Shimano pads for years, I decided to try something different. The Flash Pro pads felt like a noticeable improvement right out of the box. Braking is quiet, powerful, and easy to modulate. These pads also seem to be more resistant to getting shards of aluminum stuck in them too. The downside is they don't quite last as long as Shimano. I got about 7,000 miles out of a set before getting to the wear lines, which included training, racing, rain, heavy descending, you name it. I typically get about double that mileage with Shimano pads. That means the Flash Pro pads are effectively 4x as expensive to run. However, it can also be assumed that Flash Pro pads may be more gentle on my rims as well.I would highly recommend these pads if you're looking for ultimate performance, but stick to OEM if you're already satisfied with them and just want a pad that lasts.

OK performance, but some mounting issues
The good: not too expensive and fits my Shimano Dura-Ace holders perfectly. The OK: stops reasonably well, is very silent (not at all squeaky, recognizing that this also requires careful alignment), but does take noticeably more pressure for a given braking result than my previous Shimano pads did. [Of course, if you have to brake hard most of the time, you're probably riding badly!] The terrible: the hardware security screws are made of pot metal and I ended up breaking one of them off (a real hassle getting it out of the holder) with slightly too much tightening torque, then ditching the 3 others and re-using my original, high quality stainless steel Shimano screws. The unknown: how these will wear over time and in rainy conditions (which we almost never have in the desert). I'm basically happy but may go with Shimano next time, if only to get good security screws.

A few bucks can save your life
These bicycle brake pads are regarded among knowledgeable cyclists as among the very best. They fit most caliper style brakes, but check first. They are not universalBeing able to stop 10 or 15 feet shorter in an emergency can save your life. You can argue whether it was the car or the cyclist who was at fault, top notch bike brakes can make a difference. These pads are terrific. The photo only shows the brake pad holder. The brake pad is inside it. Installation is simple

Huge upgrade over stock pads
For those of you still riding rim brakes, or if you're upgrading a vintage build: These pads work amazingly well. quite an upgrade over already "very good" shimano brake pad compound.

Deffinatly an upgrade from most stock pads !
In my opinion Swiss stop makes a great product . Match the pad to the proper rim and you won't be disappointed . The modulation is very present with this pad and you'll find great stopping power if you cling on the brakes hard . I have Shimano DA 9000 series caliper is that makes a difference . I only brake if I absolutly need to ... I feel it's the single worst thing you can do on a bike . But now if I need to I can !
