Better than most! *by E***E on November 17, 2025* The silicone stabilizer pieces are the key difference in this unit vs others. It does a pretty good job of keeping it in place and cutting the pill as needed. Sometimes not a clean 50% cut as the blade doesn’t 100% match the open line. This is kinda a slow process but worthwhile if you are needing more precision of cuts esp for expensive or powerful meds where a little bit off of optimum cut matters. This is not a unit to quickly slam out a whole bunch of pills. With this unit I have less fragmenting/little pieces crunch off. I don’t recall now if there are considerably more expensive options out there but I’m not willing to pay that as not doing a volume of cutting but 2pills a day if using that medication.
