We have given 6 of these garlic grating plates to friends of ours who love good food. We pull ours out for entertaining all the time and even use it on our own when we are feeling decadent! The color/design options are great since we were able to match to the homes we bought them for, and match our kitchen. They are so simple yet effective for grating garlic and then, we have access to gourmet olive oils, playing with those flavors, mopped up with a good baguette is all great fun.

This product is so efficient and easy to use. Also easy to clean. Definitely beats a garlic planar or chopping it by hand. The texture also helps it incorporate easily into dressings and marinades.

You can use this for garlic or my favorite us to grate Parmesan cheese. It’s so easy to clean and takes up hardly any space. I love the easel that came with it.

The only reason I did not give this product five stars is that it depends upon the size of the garlic in this case that you use. I’ve used rather small piece of garlic and haven’t been able to grade that enough of it to be usable and end up actually irritating my fingers. Like so many graters As you get to the end of whatever it is you’re grading the tendency to injure your fingers becomes an issue.
