I've tested this Faraday box, and it effectively isolates a mobile phone from electronic communications. Add a small white-noise Portable Sound Machine to the box with the mobile phone for good measure (both the small machine and a large mobile phone fit in the large-size box), turn on the machine, close the lid, and you can have a private in-person conversation with zero possibility of surveillance via the mobile phone.Do I also wear a tinfoil hat? But I want the ability to have an in-person conversation (or rehearse a presentation or talk to myself or pray out loud) in reliable privacy if and when I feel it's worth the trouble.If you think putting your mobile phone in your closet, under your mattress, deep in a drawer, or in an adjoining bathroom with the door closed is enough to prevent its use as a listening device, you might try getting on the phone with someone, putting your phone in those places, speaking at a normal volume, and asking the person on the other end how much they could still hear. It's an eye- (or ear-) opening experiment.I also recommend keeping any mobile phone's operating system and apps up to date and restarting it on a regular basis.

This item actually works. I put both of my key fobs (both proximity fobs for unlocking the car and allowing the car to start) into the box and was unable to unlock the vehicle. As soon as I opened the box, I was able to unlock the vehicle. Closing it again, I was again unable to unlock the vehicle. This is an inexpensive solution to a modern problem.

Uses the box for keeping my smart key for cars, it prevent blooper from tracing the signal and stealing your cars, it blocks off the smart key signal from communicating the car, which prevent thief from blipping the signal. The pouch works great for commute and travel to prevent rfid thief.

Faraday box still works, keyfob case stopped working after 6 months of use. I didn't know this until I went to my car with the keys inside the Faraday fob holder, and my doors unlocked. I tested it again with the box and it was still OK. I ordered another brand and the new keyfob holder works, for now. I went online to read that Faraday keyfob holders wear down over time and that you need to replace them every few months - no thanks. I will just use the box from now on when I come home (my car got stolen last year from a relay attack). Replacing key fob holders every few months is expensive, not to mention non-sustainable. Sellers should potentially warn buyers that they may need to replace the key fob holders every few months.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do what it’s supposed to do. It’s officially and completely blocked the signal so you can stay safe and make sure that no one can tap your signal and replicate your key.

But this ASAP before your car gets stolen. Thieves scan your remote from 20Feet away and program their remote and just open your car and drive away from your driveway. This will prevent that. DO U WANT SOMEONE TO STEAL YOUR CAR?
