Taste of Home Cooking for Two: Save Money & Time with Over 130 Meals for Two

Bought this for hubby and myself, as I love TOH recipes but want to pare down the leftovers. To my surprise this book is in easy to read large print, which will make a great gift for my senior mother in law, who has a hard time reading smaller print, lives alone and is tired of what she makes for herself. Buying the 2nd copy today so I can give to her.

If you are looking for high end recipes for two, this book is for you. I was looking for down home simple recipes. Out of all the recipes in this book I found three that met my needs.

OK but not nearly as good as Cooking for One or Two or Down Home Cooking for One or Two.

One of the best recipe books there is. Quick, easy and small portions. Great recipes and quick to fix . Most ingredients are already at hand for a wonderful new meal. A must have book for a good cook!

Slowly I'm building up my cookbook library with newer Cooking for One or Two type books. I need the end result of fewer helpings made and am tired of doing the math and guessing the cooking time. Unlike my other Taste Of Home cookbooks (regular and cooking for two) this one is a glossy paperback and more of a square shape than the big rectangle the older editions are. As always, the recipes are tempting (tho some a bit more complicated than my novice standing). They have real nice glossy pages and color pictures. My main problem is deciding which meals to make -- and somehow I always end up in the desserts section. Like I said, tempting.

I like the fact it's a cooking for two cookbook and love it's a Taste of Home cookbook. I have been a fan of Taste of Home for many years. I like that the recipes are from real home cooks just like us. Recipes are usually simple with common ingredients most of us already have in our kitchens or can easily find them in our local markets. Some of my favorite recipes are from Taste of Home. If you are looking for easy good home cooked meals give Taste of Home a try.

Haven't really gotten in to this cookbook yet but I see some good recipes that appeal to my husband and me. We eat organic but simple food. I didn't want to have to totally restock my kitchen. I think this will do well for the two of us.

Nice recipes, easy to make and to adjust if needed.

I love this cooking Book. Simple recepies , wonderful for two people,. And you don't have to go to the Bank to create a delicious meal.

Great book, lots of interesting and easy recepies for people living alone. Made several and so far very pleased with results.
