We purchased this as a carry-type canopy to set up in the water at the lake. Setup is easy, adjustable legs (to any height) allow for tilting to just about any angle during sunny south Texas days and after a year of constant use during the summer and winter, it's still going strong.The only thing I do differently is instead of using the plastic stakes that are provided, I instead use a dog tie-down stake (the type that screw into the ground) in the water and tie the provided ropes to them. Have had absolutely no problems in windy conditions. The ease of setting up was why I purchased it, and i tested in my front yard. Yes, the twist knob, is easier! Especially as a solo person, sometimes. I prefer to walk around the tent, and raise the 4-corner posts incrementally, and it takes just a few minutes to do this. You can set the height anywhere from about 3 feet, and taller. so a 6 foot tall person can walk under the canopy with ease. I did not go taller, because I can't reach!
