Not much to it- fits perfectly just underneath the seat. Seems very durable. Easy to set and reset the combination - it comes preset to 0000. Once you open it; you’ll see how to set a new one. Edit: as you can see from my second photo, someone already tried to cur through the cable to get my bike. This happened the first time I used it and left out of sight for about 30 minutes. Just goes to show you that if someone wants to steal your bike badly enough, they’ll probably get it. Regardless, the cable did it’s job- they managed to cut through the rubberized part surrounding the metal cable, but that’s as far as they got. Not sure what kind of cutting tool they used, but there’s black scarring all over. Also not sure if they just gave up or ran out of time, but the cable did it’s job.

The lock is great. I had a Schwinn lock with a key. But this old man forgot to take the key out and when I went for bike ride.. no more key. This one, I can even change the lock number.. nice.

Thick cable and long enough to go through front weel and frame, feels strong but hard to work with, got to wiggle a bit to lock/unlock overall is perfect for the price!

I bought 3 of these for our bikes. The compact design is great! After finding out the right spacer for our bikes, it sits very securely under our seats. We’ll be buying more in the future!

Bought this for my son’s new bike. Should work fine as a deterrent to someone wanting to steal his bike.

When I initially bought this bike lock, I made sure to save the combination in my phone. My saved combination all of a sudden no longer works...and the code worked a month ago. I can't open the lock no matter how many times I've tried. I haven’t owned it for that long either. I would NEVER buy this product again nor recommend it. Now I have to buy a wire or bolt cutter to get my bike loose.

The description stating "12MM braided steel" is a absolute fabrication. The cable _AND_ rubberized cover is 12mm wide, but the actual metal cable is only 1/4", or under 7mm. Anything can be cut, and increased thickness only weeds out less determined thieves. This "12mm" cable, however, fits readily into even a small set of bolt cutters since the rubber quickly and easily wedges into the jaws. Otherwise, the lock operates smooth and is easy to set the combo. I just don't care for the false advertising.

The lock works good. The only problem is the directions on how to change the combo. It wasn't clear,but other then that it's fine.

The cable is really thick. You can feel the good quality when you hold the lock in your hand. The dial is smooth and big enough for my fat fingers. Recommend.

Lo único malo es que el cilindro del candado es mas grueso de lo que pensé y no pasa entre los pedales. Pero eso no es culpa del producto. Sirve muy bien y tiene el largo perfecto.
