How many caramels are in a package?

Each piece is about 12 grams, so the 20 ounce container holds approximately 47 pieces. The 11.5 ounce size contains about 27 pieces.

Is the sea salt on the inside of the caramel? If not, does the salt stick to the wrapper when you open the candy? Also, is there a decent amount.of se

The salt does not stick to the wrapper. We use a wax paper style of wrap so nothing sticks to it! The Sea Salt is mixed in with the caramel and also topped with the caramel, and it's a decent amount. It doesn't over power the flavor of the caramel but you will get a crunch or two of the salt crystals which really amplify the flavor!

When is the expiration date or how long is the shelflife

I am sorry I cannot answer this. The one I ordered was last year. As with all food products the expiration date depends on when made. This is a different batch. Will tell you they are soo soo soo good!
