Works like a charm for sealing envelops
This moistener works pretty well. I discovered there is a little valve underneath the applicator sponge. And if you start pushing down on it, fluid will come out. So just tap the sponge and lightly rub along the seal.

Ruined my invites
I bought this to save myself from having to lick 70 wedding invites. While it does seal the envelopes as promised, if any adhesive gets outside the envelope, it’s game over. I tried to wipe up any overflow that squished outside the envelope, but when I stacked all my invites in a box, several stuck together. When I tried to unstick them, the envelope ripped to the point where I had to readdress a new envelope. Some invites also had the adhesive spill into the inside and that stuck to the invite itself. I’m praying not many got ruined as I don’t have the resources to open all my invites and readdress and restamp new envelopes. So this works great if you’re careful but it’s very easy to ruin your invites. I would have rather licked all the envelopes.

Lifesaving for wedding invitations
I usually like peel-off adhesive envelopes to avoid hassle, but the envelopes that came with my wedding invitations had no such luxury. Luckily, this little thing is a hero. It made quick work of my stack of invites and in nearly as little time as it would take me with peel and seal envelopes.

Very good product, but wish it was refillable
This doo dad works very well to seal envelopes. I’ve used glue sticks and water sponge bottles (and my tongue, of course) and I find this one to be the preferable option. Glue sticks are cheap but tend to get glue all over the surface underneath, you need to put scrap paper under the envelope and move it around often to keep your envelope clear of past glue overages. Sponge bottles with water are way too leaky and make giant messes. The tongue... well, obviously that’s not preferable or products like this wouldn’t have been invented. I like Dab-N-Seal because the applicator is perfectly sized and the sponge is just the right texture to allow the product to flow without allowing it to leak all over the place. I just wish the applicator was reusable, it’s a massive waste of plastic for an item that has to be thrown away when it’s used up.

Great
I got a moistener stick from Staples (staples brand) for $10 that was horrible. You had to squeeze hard with 2 hands and hardly anything came out. It was frustrating. I came across this brand on amazon and it was same price to buy a pack and I didnt have to squeeze them much at all and was able to slide or dot and they worked amazingly. Bought again and gave some to my parents and they love them. Theyre life savers! I was using a wet cotton pad before or a glue stick to avoid licking. These are so convenient!

Me its ok
Not a bad product- you kind of have to squeeze it a little to get anything out, which can result in globs.. The adhesive is sort of weak and not really necessary for my purposes. I wouldn't buy it again, I'd just use a moist paper towel. Not a bad product, but there are cheaper ways to achieve the same result.

I've always loved this product
I love this product. It's so much nicer than licking your envelopes.

Big Time Saver/Huge Improvement over water/sponges
In my business, I pack and seal 100s of envelopes every day. To avoid having to lick them all, I have in the past used a variety of different letter moisteners, most of which are some variation on a small bottle of water with a sponge on top. This product is 10x better and is awesome. It works much the same way as the fill-it-yourself bottles, but instead of water this has a very thin glue inside. One quick swipe over the envelope and it seals perfectly every time. I mail a lot of envelopes where the strip you would normally lick runs along the flat edge on the back of the envelope, but not up the sides of the flap. No problem with this product -- you don't even need a sealing strip -- you can use this to seal any envelope, paper-to-paper. No mess, no hassle, doesn't make the paper wrinkle like a water moistener. I only wish I had discovered this product sooner. I bought one bottle and so far have used it on 1,200 envelopes and I would estimate that I have used less than half of the bottle. I am going to stock up so I never run out of these. Great product - five stars!

Works great
It's quite sticky, a bit like paste. But it works. Have to be conservative with it or it gets too wet. Overall, does what I need it to. Happy with this purchase.

Easy to use!
Simple to use, no scent, made sealing wedding invites quick and easy! Don't squeeze too hard though, small dabs are best!
