I bought this kitchen set for a Barbie prop. I really love the kitchen. The stove has batteries in the back. When you press the button on the front of the stove, it makes a boiling sound, lights up the burners and oven, and rings like a timer. It was totally hilarious and sounds more like busy traffic. The doors and drawers all open. Some were a bit stiff at first and had small amounts of flashing that will need to be sanded down with a fine piece of sanding paper. I opened them very gently to not break anything. The set came with an ample supply of dishes and food props too. I had already bought Barbie a table and chair set back during the summer when I found some good sales like a dollar off and free shipping. I just hadn't cleared a shelf to set it up until now. These sets are so cute and make cool photos for Barbie.

Perfect! I picked this out because it was affordable, cute, and an appropriate size for my rats. They love it and there’s plenty of spots to hide snacks, which encourages them to forage.

This is much much nicer than I thought it would be. Perfect size for Barbie. Seems well made. It does have the little cardboard cut outs in the back that can be removed and painted over or add contact paper to give it a more modern look. Very easy to customize. Would definitely buy again.

Just received today! I know my daughter is going to LOVE this although my 4yo hasn't had a chance to play with it yet. I took it out of the box and inspected it thoroughly. The cabinet doors feel very flimsy and the handles feel super flimsy as well. However the set is bigger than i thought and it comes with alot of awesome accessories. The 2 oven racks come out! The stove noise really does sound like a train but not so loud that I want to take the batteries out :-) and the oven does light up. The back is made out of cardboard though :-( for $27 I dont think this set is a bad deal due to I purchased an actual barbie fridge for $15 and it 2 has a cardboard back but half the size of the fridge in this set. The cardboard backs do come off easily though :-( (edited)--opened today and I am impressed there is a lot more accessories than it looks like and they are decent quality! My daughter loves this!

it's exactly as described and it's adorable! I opened all of the doors and drawers, but I'm waiting until my granddaughter gets here today to check out the foods and dishes and stuff. I'm so glad I ordered this!!!!! we're going to have a blast playing with this tonight! and yes, after reading many of the reviews, the pieces are separate and do fall over while you try to open the cupboards. I'm planning on making something that will hold the pieces upright, as soon as I can figure out how and what I want to do. the noise the stove makes is awful, but the oven lights up as do the burners. DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM BUYING THIS SET!!!!!!! it is still absolutely adorable. my 8 year old granddaughter played with the set for an hour and a half after opening all of the packages of dishes and foods. I love miniatures and love just seeing it sitting on the table. the box has a cute print inside, so we used that as a backdrop.

Very nice has sound effects more appropriate for a Barbie doll size doll then the larger dolls

I purchased this after buying a kitchen from another seller that turned out too small for my needs. This is the perfect size, good for Barbies, but I bought it because I like to make silly little scenes with my Final Fantasy figures. All four pieces can be arranged however you like, but be warned they're big, I had to move them around a bit to find a layout that worked with my Dollhouse. - and my Dollhouse is pretty damn big. This may not work for smaller ones. NOT ALL FOOD ITEMS AND ACCESSORIES PICTURED HERE COME WITH THIS PLAY SET. A lot of the things I stocked the kitchen with are from my own collection of bits and pieces over the years, BUT you do get a decent amount of accessories with the kitchen. Only the oven and stove light up and make noise, and batteries are already included. Backing is cardboard which may bother some but really doesn't bother me. All in all, I'm very happy with this, it's adorable.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The quality of the product is pathetic. None of the doors are opening properly. The light button in the oven is also pathetic doesn't work. Do not fall for global ratings.
