Sizing question: my hips measure 38.5 in. What size should I get?

Since you are between a size 5 and size 6, we would most recommend the size 6 as the size 5 may be too tight.

Any chance of getting half black half white, or half beige (size 4)?

Why don't you sell these in a size 8 anymore. the only things you have size 8 and higher are granny underwear. size 8 is not fat.

There are other styles available in the same fabric with a lower rise. I definitely recommend trying the Elance bikini and Elance hipster.
