It works.
It flattens the dough and is fairly easy to use. My only complaint is that the top and bottom don't line up properly, they are pretty far offset, which makes it difficult to get the best press. It was cheap though, and I got what I paid for.

Low quality and top doesn't align with bottom
My wife bought this one rather than the one I asked for. Needless to say the quality is poor. The top lid doesn't align with the bottom making it very difficult to press down.
