I got this chopper for my husband. He loves making frittata with mushrooms and onions etc. It's a mess chopping mushrooms on a cutting board. Enter this chopper into the picture! This is a great chopper. I use it all the time for my salads... making are a breeze now. It shipped very quickly... very easy to use and clean. Cuts down on preparation time... just throw everything in the bowl and chop it all up at once! Highly recommend this high quality chopper. No kitchen should be without one!

Like this tool to help cut lettuce, but feel that it diminishes the volume of lettuce once I’ve used the chopper, but it a handy tool.

Do not like the area you grab on to when using it. Needs a rubber cover for your hands to grip and the gripping area could be a bit smaller for smaller hands. Great for larger hands. Just doesnt have a good feel when using it.

This has made making salads so much easier and fun. I love going to the salad chain Chopt and loved how small they chop your salad. I wanted that at home. It also chops through croutons very nicely.This chopper comes in a lovely box, which makes it easy to store, as well as a blade guard. I love this!I also used this to chop up onion & garlic! Super easy.

This mezzaluna set is amazing! its blades are very sharpened and it cuts the vegetables finely. There is enough distance between blades and it is very comfortable to use. This is one of the most useful kitchen gadgets I've purchased. It is indeed a premium product, love it!

Besides cleaning, I didn't think it chopped very well. I didn't use it as much as I thought, due to the cleaning issue which turned out to be a hassle even under running H20 & poor performance. As I didn't use it so much I decided to send it back on day 29 of the 30 allowed to return it for full coverage. What a waste of money if I had waited 2 more days. - K

This product is sharper than a butter knife but not any other kind of knife. Its fine for choping things that break/snap like nuts, carrots, cauliflower. But if you want to chop softer foods like lettuce, cucumbers, or herbs this will smoosh/crush it it apart, not meant for slicing. ie you can slide the blade across your hand all you want, it and it will never break skin unless you push down hard.Add to that if you cut anything thats a lot larger than 2" it will get wedged between the blades, so a whole carrot wouldn't work unless you make sure only one blade is cutting... defeats the purpose of a double blade.This paerticular Mezzaluna Knife is sold under a lot of brand names, Id stay away from all of them. Get a real brand.
