I wanted to protect my valuable mattress set during a move and in storage. Be careful when looking at these types of bags. Some are very thin (easy to rip). Some are for old style thin mattresses. These bags are heavy duty and fit modern thick mattresses. You slide them on and seal with some packing tape. Just what you need. Recommended!

I opted to purchase a "king size" bag for the extra room.Pros:-Bag is thick enough to resist most attempts to puncture it.-Seams of bag appear to be well manufactured.-Fits queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall.Cons:-Barely fits a queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall. I seriously doubt this bag can handle a king size mattress. Wikipedia says a king size mattress is 16 inches wider than a queen. Based on a visual check, at most there was only 5 inches remaining to accommodate a larger mattress.-"Sealing" the open end of the bag is difficult and barely sufficient for keeping out dirt, insects, etc. There is barely enough material in the sealing flap to "fold over' against the rest of the bag. I estimate there was only 4 inches of plastic material available to folder over. Hardly enough to inspire confidence. Given the price of this product, they should made the sealing flap minimum 12 inches long.In summary:A good product if you want to dispose of your mattress and don't care if dust, insects, etc get inside.However if you are disposing your mattress because of bed bugs, there isn't enough material available to fold over and make a solid seal. Disposal companies would probably refuse to collect your mattress because of this issue.The overall size is an issue too. I strongly doubt this product would fit a king mattress. It barely fit my queen size mattress which was less than 12 inches tall.If you planning on using this product to store your mattress, consider buying a 2 pack and then using both on a single mattress to ensure a complete, and durable, overlapping seal. I wish Amazon would let me upload a photo as I've been moved into my apartment for over a month and my mom has them back home to use for when my brother moves out.***make sure you buy some packing tape for this once you get whatever you need into the bags***I ordered this purely for the use of transportation when using a dirty uhaul truck.The bags fit over my 7" deep Tempur-Pedic mattress and my 8.5" deep box spring like a loose glove! (Put in separate bags of course)There aren't any handles but we had enough room to grip the plastic and haul it down stairs and to the truck. We used packing tape to seal the opening as there are no zippers or anything provided and it did the trick just fine.It was the thickest bag but if people are using this to store for a long period of time I'd suggest a thicker plastic bag just in case to protect against rodents.There were moments where we dropped the edge or bottom of the bag (because mattresses are floppy in the wind) and it scrapped against the concrete and it made marks and scratches. That wasn't to concerning to me as this purchase was to only protect my stuff for a short time.I don't know if it's water proof but it's dog nail proof as my dog walked on it when my mattress was on the floor and she needs a clipping (that has been done since this review if anyone is concerned).

I needed moving/storage protection for my king mattress. It was easy enough to use and it was long enough to fold over and tape secure. My mattress did not get dirty or wet during move and 6 month storage. Worth the investment.

I needed to store a queen mattress and box springs. My son recommended this particular brand since he used them for a move. I’m glad I mentioned it to him. These work great. There are two bags included. Very heavy duty and relatively easy to slide over the mattress. Sort of like a big envelope. There is no zipper or other form of closure. All you need is some heavy duty tape to close the end. They were loaded on a trailer, strapped down and drove down the highway. At their destination, they were unloaded and stored. Not one rip or tear! Highly recommend.
