Pay attention to the noise/symptoms your dryer has and where it is coming from before ordering parts. Horrendously loud banging & thumping noises are coming from the support rollers (two rollers in back/two in front), and normally it is the two in the way-back that go bad, requiring a near full disassembly of the main dryer components to reach/replace. It is not particularly difficult if you watch a how-to video beforehand, but it helps to be handy and use a drill/driver with a clutch as there are a lot of sheet metal screws to remove/replace. I found a huge amount of lint build-up throughout the dryer vents and blower wheel and cleaned it out as I went, but in regards to replacing these rollers, you REALLY MUST CLEAN OUT the lint/solid deposits accumulated on top and under the felt gaskets at both ends of the drum, as you will find significant chunks of deposits both over and under it. The deposits create an uneven rotational surface for the drum mating surfaces at the back of the dryer and likely contribute to premature/rapid failure of new parts as reported by a few purchasers. I also found that lint and other small, loose items (guitar picks) had filled the dryer paddles inside the drum and were making noise when I rotated the drum manually after replacing the rear rollers. Removal and cleaning of paddles is easy, just be sure to orient them in the same direction when replacing the paddles.Take the time to vacuum up the loose lint inside the dryer 'shell' and look for any leaks in your exit/vent hose, and test run it before putting the top cover back on as you will likely forget to reconnect the hidden wire hookups under control panel. You can do this! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheaper than a new dryer, easy to install *by B***P on May 25, 2021* Unfortunately, Samsung dryers have a tendency to burn out the bushing on the drum rollers. I have replaced three so far with one to go! These rollers are nice in that they seem indistinguishable (at least to me) from the OEM and slide right off the included pins and can be installed on the back roller pins without needing to take the back off the dryer. They seem to last a good 2-3 years. For $10 each and 20 minutes of labor for the front rollers (but longer for the rear ones), it is well worth it. Nice to get rid of that clunking noise.I noticed another reviewer mentioned that the drum was shredded. Same thing happened to mine ... with the original drum rollers.
