Even the workout clothes, that 'ferment' in the laundry basket until laundry day, come out clean. I use the unscented because my husband has sensitive skin, so the laundered clothes are not 'masked' with fragrance, they are clean and FRESH with just one pod per medium load. The whites are still white. I wash them in hot water with a single pod in an extra large load (sheets, towels, wash cloths, gym sweat mop towels). They also are clean, white and fresh.
