Generally, if the universal adapter is for the chip with less than 40 pins, it can work on the T48 programmer. But for chips with more than 40 pins, you will need to purchase the special adapters for T48. For example, for NAND Flash chips of 48 pins, you need to buy "XGecu ADP_F48_EX-2 NAND TSOP48-2 Special Adapter", ASIN: B0B7WFZRVW. For NOR Flash chips of 48 pins, you need to buy "XGecu ADP_F48_EX-1 TSOP48 Special Adapter", ASIN: B0B7249FM5. The two adapters above are commonly used.

I have a plcc 32 lead eeprom (28sf040) i know i will need an sdm to dip adapter will it read data from this chip?
