Plant Baskets - Gopher and Vole Baskets, 15 Gallon, Pack of 1 - Protect Plants, Trees, Flowers and Bulbs from Voles, Gophers and Moles - A One Time Solution, No Repellent Needed

I've been using the Vole King baskets and they do work very well to keep the voles from destroying my garden as they were doing. The only problem is that the one that I need the most, and probably other people as well, is the half gallon size and I cannot find it anywhere. Vole King, please put those back on the market.

These are easy to use during planting. After several months (post main growing season), they are working to keep moles from eating the roots. But, they have not gone through a summer yet. I am a bit concerned the thinness of the wire will not hold up to moles and gophers. I will try to repost after I see how they work through a growing season.

Used these to put around my squash that the squirrels kept eating. I enclosed the squash in the mesh bag and used plastic string to make an enclosure at the top near the vine and so far these squash have not been eaten. I have these in a community garden so I guess they went to my neighbors for easier pickings.

So far so good. I got these for gophers after speaking with the manufacturer.The gophers seem to be unable to get to the roots, as promised. I know they have tried, because a few of them did have to come above ground to eat the top of the flowering plants. We have serious gopher density!We're solving that problem by other means. Not sure if the vole cages can solve that problem. It would be ugly to leave the cages sticking too far out of the ground.That said, the plants will grow back. Their roots have been protected. And now we know what to expect.The cages are very easy to use and they are a breeze compared to making your own cages out of hardware cloth! We needed hundreds of them.Manufacturer says if the gophers do try to chew through the cages, they'll have to stop because the wires will hurt them.

The seller says it will work for voles and gophers. My gophers may be the proof if the mesh is actually sturdy enough to deter those evil creatures. This winter will be the test.

We live on acreage and have been battling voles in my perennial flower garden. After purchasing these wired mesh coverings, my plants have survived their intrusion and have moved on elsewhere.

I just wanted to thank Vole King for providing an answer to the increasing problem of Voles in our landscapes. I have been landscaping for over 25 years and finally have found a product I feel confident installing for our clients. Vole King was affordable and extremely effective in existing vole infested projects. I use this product with out exception in all of our installations. The best thing about it is its a permanent, one time solution. The clients and I do not need to follow up on treatments afterwards. Vole King has been a huge time saver for my company and my clients. My clients also look at it as a very cheap solution to protect their expensive plants. They will work but I think for $7 each I could’ve made some a lot cheaper. A bit flimsy and coming apart already.I wouldn’t recommend these. Better off buying bulk yard of chicken wire and making your own.
