I ordered this lamp to both provide ambient lighting and a source of reading light on my nightstand. It is absolutely perfect! The colour of the base is a lovely natural wood which also matches the colour of my natural wood bedframe and the cloth shade provides a gentle glow. It's definitely enough to read by but not overpowering. I am happy that the lamp takes a standard bulb, and in mine I have an LED bulb. The lamp was packaged professionally and arrived in perfect condition. It is clear that the company (WAYKING) cares about its products. I will definitely order more from this company.

Please don't be like me when I first got the lamp I had the shade upside down and it looked like a box but it was still nice. Since I have found out the right way to have the shade on the base I liked it even more because it is just the right size to sit on my bedside table.

If you want just a cute lamp in the bedroom with just enough lighting before bedtime or throughout the night, I recommend this one.It comes with the bulb but for sure you can change if you want. The cord is a little bit short so you might as well put it close where you can easily reach.

This is a well made table lamp. It has a distinctive, appealing profile and offers the right amount of light for a secondary light source. It's not a reading light. The base and the shade are both very high quality and the cord has a convenient off/on toggle switch. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Lightbulb came broken and lamp didn’t turn on with a different lightbulb

Can't much say too much without posting a picture but if you are on the fence about them (1) they are pretty cheap (2) with a 400lm bulb they give off a good amount of light (3) if you're a sucker for that wood look, they're sexy as hell.
