Since all the reviews were good I thought I give it a try and so far I have not been dissaopointed. The battery mad e a perfect replacement for the one in my Dell Altitude which had blown up and pushed the bottom of my laptop open. It was a very simple process to replace it. I don't know how the Battery Life will hold up but for now it is charging and working just fine again.

My old battery was failing (bulging and running hot) this replacement fit perfectly and is very long lasting.

Battery stopped working after a few days

Had no problem installing and my laptop is operating perfectly.

Battery arrived with only a 47% charge. So far charging overnight has not increased charge.

It was surprisingly economical for what it is. Very easy to install. Works right out of the box.

Same 55Ah as OEM yet does not provide the same performance. Original OEM started at over 9.5 hrs but over 2 years of use started dropping to no more than 3.5-4 hrs with an unexpected shut down at 15% so I bought this one. Out of the box it is only giving me less than 5 hrs. Very disappointed. The only reason I am not sending it back is because I do not get the sudden shut down when it depletes and when Windows tells me to charge, I have time to plug it in. But I would not recommend this battery in an attempt to get back to original usage times.
