I have tried so many deodorants since I was in highschool and I could never find one that would keep me from sweating profusely while also keeping me fresh all day. I can't believe I'm finally able to say I found one and it smells amazing! Lasted me all day and every once in a while when I would check it was still fresh as when I first applied. Definitely recommend this!Update 9/2/2016:Still going strong and loving this deodorant. I've noticed a few differences in my mood, which I'm not sure is related, but I feel happier, probably because I'm more confident. My natural smell is definitely ALOT better since I've been using this product and I absolutely love that. It also doesn't say it's an antiperspirant, but I have noticed that I actually don't sweat as much with this product. Now, the only thing I've noticed that I'm trying to figure out is I've had this itching sensation under my arms. I'm not sure if that's normal, but I've read some people think it's our body pushing out the old deodorant gunk out of the armpit glands. That's just an unsupported opinion that I came across when reading reviews about natural deodorants. Anyways, I don't mind the itching, it comes and goes and there is no rash or dark spot(s) so it's still a worthy product to me. This is my Honest opinion of this product in order to receive a free stick of Freedom Stick deodorant (hopefully the bergamot, my favorite). :)Update: 9/29/16It's been about 2 months now and I'm still enjoying the bergamot mint stick. I did have those bumps which people say are swolen lymph nodes, but I massaged them every night and when I took a shower and they went away. Still haven't really had any odor issues like what I had with regular deodorant. Just try it, for some, it may not be as good as regular deo, but for others like me that have issues with regular deo, it works pretty great.

I refuse to use any of that toxic junk on the store shelves for myself or my kids. We've tried some other natural deodorants and they haven't really worked. Plus, as I was searching the EWG database to get ideas on which deodorants got their best ratings, I found that most we had tried - while much better than your run-of-the-mill toxic junk - still had some ingredients of concern in them. I started researching each one I found that got EWGs very best rating, and none looked promising except Freedom. After we received it and all 3 of us used it I am thrilled to say it works MARVELOUSLY while getting the EWGs very best possible rating! It IS a different consistency than the normal junk on stores shelves, but doesn't that make sense? It is nothing like them! We found if you use many short strokes to cover your pits instead of trying to drag the stick from the top of your pit all the way to the bottom in one fell swoop that it goes on much easier. It doesn't stain clothes and the Lavender scent smells wonderful. Thank you to this company for creating a safe product that works!

I wanted to love this so much (I even talked to my fiance about buying it for all of the girls in my family after only 24hrs of using it) The one positive is that its only natural deodorant that actually combats my body odor after trying 5+ other brands.It does NOT help with sweat! I went through the major sweating phase for about 5 days, but even after 2 months of use it still leaves me sweaty in less than an hour. The constant wetness is bacteria's playground. Which I learned the hard way. I'm finishing my second round of antibiotics from painful cysts/lumps caused by the sweat. My underarm lymph node also began to swell to a painful lump the size of a marble. Which had me up nights crying in fear of breast cancer..I should have quit after I finished the first deodorant which I finished in under 3 weeks because of how small/how often I had to reapply it. I gave it another chance & bought a second (bringing my total fail to over $35) & second round of antibiotics was what I got back. If you are a sweaty person or have sensitive skin, RUN!!I've now gone back to regular anti-persperant so I don't keep going through painful infections. So much for trying to be all natural...

EDIT: 9/10/17- I have ordered this deodorant a second time for both myself and my husband. His continues to work well, but mine does not. The second tube of deodorant actually doesn't smell as strong as the first (there's a little left in the tube from the prior batch). It isn't as effective, and I've had to apply it multiple times throughout the day, and still have problems with stink. When I use a little of the remainder out of the first tube, it works great. So... I'm hoping this is just a glitch in the most recent batch/the tube was old. I will order again to give it another shot, hoping that the next tube will be of the wonderful quality that the first one was. I'm going to take my review down to 3 stars in the meantime.Original review (gave 5 stars): This deodorant is amazing! I didn't have high hopes. Before I switched to using natural deodorants several years ago, I had to use clinical strength formulations just to keep up with the stink... so of course I've been on the lookout ever since for a natural deodorant that works. I've tried all kinds, and even made several iterations of my own. Some of them haven't worked at all and some have worked at first, but have either started to cause an underarm rash or just seem to stop working, or cause horrible stains on my clothes. But this Freedom Deodorant has been fabulous. It actually smells great all day, and I don't have to reapply after work outs. I don't need to use very much, so I hope it will last awhile... it's pretty pricey.

I bought this along with several different kinds of deodorants for my daughter to try out. She found another she liked first so I tried this one after my antiperspirant ran out. I’ve tried many different natural deodorants and they never seemed to last long enough or they felt sticky. I’m now a convert as this deodorant works well for me. It smells nice and is not perfumy or overwhelming. It lasts very well for me, even after 5-10km runs. Oddly, it did give me a rash after about a month of use which was very disappointing, but, a quick look on their website said to take a break for a few days and try again. The rash cleared quickly and I started using the deodorant again without any further problems.

Love this natural deodorant! It works well and was a good transition from using commercial antiperspirant. Different than usual “natural” deodorants that don’t seem to work at all.

It literally has been years that I have been looking for a deodorant that is "safe". Have always been disappointed as I am with this one. I can't even describe the feeling of when you rub it on your underarms. It's like nothing is happening. I felt like I had to run it under hot water so that it could soften up and be applied properly to my underarms.

Lovely scent, not to strong, very effective!! The perfect deodorant!

Update:broke out in a rash after using the deodorant for about 3 months. So disappointed. Loved it in the beginning.I have tried a TON of antiperspirants including men's. I do perspire a lot so I was very sceptical of a natural deodorant. But thought I would give it a try. It WORKS! And it smells great. I use the Betgamont Mint.
