I’ve trusted Paula’s Choice products for years, especially their sunscreen, which has been a staple in my daily routine. Because of that long-term positive experience with the brand, I was very curious to try this Weightless Body Lotion Treatment with 2% BHA, and it has turned out to be a really impressive addition to my skincare lineup. The first thing I noticed is the texture. Despite containing 2% salicylic acid, the lotion feels surprisingly lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky film. Many exfoliating body treatments can feel heavy or overly medicinal, but this one feels more like a refined moisturizer. It spreads easily across the skin, which means a small amount goes a long way, especially when applied to areas like the arms and legs. I mainly used it on areas that tend to develop rough texture and clogged pores, particularly the backs of my arms where keratosis pilaris–prone bumps sometimes appear. What I appreciate about this formula is that it combines exfoliation with hydration. The BHA (salicylic acid) works to gently loosen and dissolve the buildup that can cause those tiny bumps, while soothing ingredients like chamomile and green tea help keep the skin calm and comfortable. Instead of feeling dry or tight after applying it, my skin actually feels softer and well-conditioned. Another aspect I like is that the formula is completely fragrance-free. It's not greasy, it's scent is pleasant if nonexistent, it moisturizes & exfoliates well, and it really does feel weightless! Kind of amazing for this skeptic. I've had a few darker patches on my face since my 20s & I really didn't expect it to do much - maybe just even everything out. I used it sparingly at first to make sure I didn't have an adverse reaction. My face skin is sensitive, but it didn't burn so I used it about every third day. I noticed the difference immediately - it felt like a whole layer of dead skin washed off my face with only a gentle scrubbing. It even took care of a couple of problem areas I could never seem to get exfoliated. My darker patches have minimized considerably and my skin tone looks more evened out. I've begun using it on elbows & knees - the rest of me now feels scrubbed & refreshed after a summer of oils & sunscreens. I bought the two ounce size, thinking it's not a big loss if it only turns out to be expensive hand lotion. With my first application the quality was evident - at least for me, it does what it says it can do. It feels weightless & I feel comfortable in my skin again. I still use it sparingly but when I finish with this 2 oz size, I may go with a larger size. It's definitely a useful product I know I'll use consistently.

Very expensive, one tube lasts only for 3 weeks. I used this product in the morning and BHA serum(different brand) at night. After 2 weeks, I can see 80% of the KP bumps are gone, skin feels smooth. I still have the dark spots though.

Bought this to use for my ingrown hairs I get from waxing my legs . It has a strong chemical smell when you apply it but after you rub it in it smells good. It works pretty well with ingrowns.
