Lights stay on 24/7 ???? or do they turn off at some point? can they be set up to never go off??

They can stay on 24/7 or have other custom switch off settings, but, you'll need to install and use the Razer Synapse Software. The options in Synapse settings for the Ornata V3 (software version 3.8.116.10612) for Shut off are: a) When display is turned off, b) When idle for X minutes (you can adjust how many minutes) and you can have bot a and b turned on if you want both settings at the same time.

Can you turn the lights off?

Yes. I believe it is fn key and then press the f11 or whatever the sun down is until it turns off

Does the rgb support per key config? or zone only?

You get full control in the Razer Synapse lighting control panel. With a lot of detail and work you can assign each button to do different things with colors yes.
