Simple and effective, great little screwdriver
I keep buying more of these because they are super handy and pleasant to use. I never realized how often I reach for a #1 Phillips screwdriver until I was down to one, so I had to get more.The only downside to these is the round handle is not as comfortable for high torque use as one of the triangular handles like the Tektons have. I’d say they’re about the same quality-wise, and these acetate handles clean up easier when I get oil or grease on them.

My favorite and most often used screwdriver. Fits my hand, non-rubbery handle. Looks nice too.

Quality screwdriver
After getting frustrated with what seemed like my 10th junk worn-down screwdriver, I finally decided to "spend the real money" on a couple genuine Craftsman drivers. Fabulous. I used them for a day's hard work without any apparent wear to the top which is more than I can say for any other one I've used. Craftsman has a long reputation for quality, so hopefully these will be the last ones I'll need to buy.

misleading again
I checked the spec, said country of origin usa. I would like to know what state Taiwan is located in. Amazon lists two craftsman #1 screwdrivers one USA the other Taiwan. I chose USA got Taiwan.

It's Craftsman, and it works like the Craftsman tools I've been buying for years.
I've been a big fan of Craftsman tools since I worked as a factory mechanic. The only tools I've had that failed, did so after some pretty extreme abuse on my part. I love the fact that they still honor the lifetime guarantee on the products even though so much has changed as far as their manufacturer and distributor goes.

Great tools for home or shop...
CRAFTSMAN my whole life..... My father had a basement shop which had many Craftsman tools. During his latter years, he had a business of fabricating custom signs for both small businesses and homes.... He relied on Craftsman for many projects including home and car repairs & maintenance.... Now I have many of those same tools he used for decades....they just last.

I have owned of these and have used it for years. I bought one for each of my daughter and an extra for me.
