Very nice balance of thickness, suppleness, surface-feel, toughness, workability, and so on :)
- I had purchased a smaller piece of this previously, and I thought it was super, so I got this larger piece. I love the color; it's also a nice thickness, good for footwear but still supple, and with a very pleasant-feeling, almost velvety, texture/surface treatment, even to someone who is a fussy as I am about *any* sort of irritating micro-speck of something on my skin, LOL! - I'm using these to make shoe inserts and house-slippers to compensate for my one leg being shorter-enough than the other that it was causing nerve pinching in my back and resulting pain etc. in that leg. Yes, it takes effort, and yes, one can buy "lifts", but this is sturdy enough to use as a full-sized insole, rather than just a thing that goes under the heel. - OH!, also, I almost forgot to add that the foot-things I've made from this particular leather have stayed *non-stinky* =:-D despite me wearing them all the time (the leg doesn't get any longer just because I'm only puttering around the house, LOL!) The footwear AND my feet have remained amazingly non-stinky. I don't know what secret formula Dangerous Threads uses, but I think this weight, surface-feel, color, etc. of their leather is GREAT. - To build up my insoles, I used "Weldbond Universal Adhesive", which is sold on Amazon, mostly because I just had it on hand and it remains flexible. There are also, of course, glues on Amazon which are described as being specifically for leather. For my slippers. I lightly tacked pieces in place with glue but used a sewing-awl to stitch them together for added strength. - I bet it would be really nice as a covering for a chair/wheelchair cushion, too. Maybe that will be a future project ;)

A++ Company
Description is off, slightly. Expected thicker leather to make a knife sheath out of and this was more suede than leather.Company was very polite, though, and gave me a refund.

Nice piece, just as described
It was exactly as described (read the description). There was one area that is a little "uglier" for lack of a better term, but that is to be expected on a natural piece of leather, and it is listed as a scrap. All in all, a very nice piece. Thanks.

Soft and Pliable Boot Leather
I am always happy when I purchase this boot leather. I like to use this scrap leather, for making knife sheaths, because it is pliable enough to manipulate, and makes for a very sharp looking sheath. If I need another color, I dye it, and it dyes easily to. I recommend this product if you're into leather crafting, and you need soft leather to work with. Not for tooling
This really can't be used for tooling, but it did serve my purpose for what it was intended.

It was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem with it is my fault. I didn't have enough leather working knowledge to know how stiff the piece would be. I'm building a small axe sheath and would have preferred it to be a little heavier (my lack of knowledge, not a minus because of the seller. I'll buy from them again.

I was very pleased with the quality
For an item advertised as scrap, I was very pleased with the quality. The leather is of a uniform color, pliable, and plenty thick for my needs. Soft jaws for a vice, a chisel strop, and lacing are several projects I plan to use it for. The seller Dangerous Threads shipped quickly.
