## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this work with flushing out thankless waterheaters for 30 mins?**
A: not with out changing out battery .    it well go about 20 min  per battery.  I use it to drain 40 gal hot water heaters

**Q: Can this pump handle silt or dirty water. I do excavation and need something to drain puddles and tire tracks.**
A: I would limit the dirt as it will score the inside of the housing. Zuwa, I think it is made in Germany makes a flexible impeller pump that can handle fairly large solids.

**Q: Can you pump  chemicals through it?**
A: With this pump I would not pump chemicals due to the rubber impler and the void of the warranty.....i have run antifreeze through one of my pump and no issues as of yet but I do run clean water through it afterwards for several minutes.

**Q: Can I swap the garden hose ends for pipe thread or jic**
A: Yes

This transfer pump was purchased for occasional use. It was first used for emptying toilet tanks, when the gaskets were going bad. It sucked out the water so fast, I was shocked. Just a few seconds were that was required to pump out several quarts of water. I prefer battery-powered devices when working around water. It is very effective and surprisingly quiet for the amount of power. I bought a spare impeller, because it is not clear how long it will last if the water being pumped is full of rust particles or other debris. I have not found this to be a problem. Strongly recommended device if you have Milwaukee batteries and chargers.
