Good, dependable, easy to handle, and user friendly air purifier.
I got this because I am a few blocks away from a devastating wildfire so the ash, soot, and dust from 9,000 burned down houses that are from people's lost homes that drift into the homes still standing. So the ashes are both sacred and potentially toxic. I got three of these. I do have to change the filters more often than "normal," but they do keep the air clear. It is not heavy. I recommend the sizes that are easier to move. This is a medium. The noise level is like "white noise." I keep them on almost all the time, and for now, I need to change the pre filter about every two weeks.

A Honeywell Air Purifier For Each Room
Honeywell is a great brand. I have Honeywell air purifiers in my home. They are not noisy machines, it's amazing what they collect because I have 5 cats, the air seems cleaner and there is less dust. My goal is to have one in each room.

Good value, a bit noisy
I'm overall happy with the air filter, but it's pretty noisy by my standards even on the lowest setting. There's certain places in the house I can't place it because it will annoy me, but I can use other filters in those locations.

good air purifier for the price
I bought the HPA3100 for $75 including tax. I bought this to remove PM2.5 microparticulate, which irritates my airways. The HPA3100 uses a standard-size HEPA filter that is produced by several manufacturers, and is available from many vendors. The HEPA filter should remove PM2.5. The prefilter is quite coarse, and I think it will stop fluff. I think neither the prefilter nor the HEPA filter will remove VOCs or odors, and that OK with me. I don't intend to utilize any of the specialty filters that you can buy separately and install between the prefilter and the HEPA filter. At its highest setting "turbo", the HPA3100 is about as noisy as a kitchen fume hood running at a low-to-medium setting. At its lowest setting, the HPA3100 is about as noisy as fan. The controls on the HPA3100 are simple and intuitive. The auto-off timer that turns of the HPA3100 after 2, 4, or 8 hours is convenient. Accessing the prefilter and HEPA filter is easy.

nice little unit with 5 year warranty
I've been using Honeywell HEPA air purifiers for over 20 years, and they have always been good, this is one of their newer designs, works well, quiet, but after 3 months the motor gave out. I called Honeywell customer care, they took care of it right away, warranty was excellent. would buy again, and highly recommend Honeywell products.

Quiet and cheap filter replacments!
Much quieter than my old air purifier, the generic replacement filters are cheap since I only want the HEPA filters and do not really need the A or S filters. Its compact and does not take up too much space and looks nice. One thing I did not expect was that it has an option to dim the LED lights for a bedroom, something I wish more appliances had.
