Great pair of shoes come through easy to break in

The boots I received appear to have been worn and returned at some point. The size of them was correct so I am grateful for that. They are just for work and knocking around so I am going to avoid the hassle of returning and wear them.

I really liked the quality of the materials of the boots and the rough appearance is really charming.When I received the boots, the leather was quite stiff. But, after breaking them down by soaking them wet and walking for some kilometers, they became very comfortable. And the shoe size is the true size.The plastic insole is just a simple plastic net.

Having worn jungle boots for most of my 8 years of service, these are not close. They are heavy, the tread is not flexible, the uppers are padded, which means heat in the climates the boot should be worn in.It is a well made boot. It will take time to break in, but again is of good quality. Though being so heavy, and the padding in the upper means this is better suited for northern climates, except if worn in the wet the drain holes will allow water in possibly making feet wet and cold should temps drop.

Tried several kinds of jungle boots but these were the only ones I could wear in comfortable. The leather around the heel softens nicely with wear and at that point the blisters go away. Rubbing in boot oil helps. The boots have been sturdy and reliable outdoors. Recommended

Excellent design no blisters great fit. I wear them with WWII M1938 leggings over them.

Boots are better quality than all work boots I've owned in the past ranging from $150 to $120, these with be a recreational boot.
