These are high-quality brushes at a very reasonable price. The individual hairs paint soft and smooth without splitting or falling out on the canvas. These are essentials in my art studio. They work well with both oils and acrylics. They clean easily and are durable even though I am generally very hard on my brushes.

The paintbrushes are a fine quality for the price etc. But there's a problem with the crazy-sticky pads that keep the brushes in place in the package. That sticky stuff comes off on the handles of the brushes, so then you either spend half an hour using an adhesive remover to get that gunk off, or try painting with sticky goop on the handles! Stupid packaging. Next time I'll try a different brand with different packaging

I absolutely love these brushes. I like using them with my split cakes to make butterflies and other face painting designs. Holds color very well and works smoothly. Soft bristles and good sizes to choose from. Will buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: They work nicely with water colors. The seem to be well made. They don’t lose their bristles which is always a nice feature.

These brushes are sturdy and easy to manipulate. I enjoyed using them. I am not a pro but I love to paint using stencils. It's an exciting hobby I have taken up at age 76. 😄

A professional suggested Princeton Select brushes for quality, and they work with both watercolor and acrylic. I highly recommend this set for use with watercolor, have not tried with acrylic, yet. They hold water and paint well, comfortable in the hand, and keep their shape when we'll maintained. And they don't break the bank. Winner for me!

I like this set, I've ordered a comparable long handle set. The packaging for the brushes presents them well and holds them in place. But the package uses 3 very strong adhesive strips on the card to hold the brushes in place. You have to be careful removing each brush to prevent breaking the handle. Then spend 10-15 minutes carefully cleaning the adhesive residue from 3 places on each brush handle to keep from damaging the brush handle or its finish.
