Quality product
Great product that is very well made and is exactly as described. Gonna be great for my day hikes around my 120 acre property. My only complaint is that it took so .long to get it. I encourage Helicon Tex to get this item back in inventory ASAP. I settled for a color that was not my first choice because that was all that was available.

This is great
This fanny pack work great, plenty of room and seems very well built. I use this for full days out on the prairie, carries more than enough gear for a day trip. The belt is wide and solid enough. Not mushy webbing but still flexible. The only con I feel is the elastic in the water bottle pouches. It is difficult to get your water bottle back in place with out a lot of hassle due to the elastic top and the stretch cord getting in the way. you either have to spin the belt to the front so you can use both hands or get help from another hiker.I do not use the suspenders, but if I loaded much heavier, I will try them. As you can see by my photos, I carry a good load out of Binoculars, multi tool and GPS, On the other side, a iphone case with room for a CCW and a sheath with my Victorinox trekker.

Great for a day pack
Riding down low on your hips keeping your back open is great for reducing heat-up and sweat. The harness is a life save for me as I have negative butt and everything falls off. My set-up... Left side molly attached pouch with first aid, wallet and keys, right side molly attached Allien Gear Holster with my Smith and Wesson .45. 1 ltr in each bottle pouch, strapped on top is my jacket, strapped below in an UST Tube tarp emergency shelter. Inside the main compartment you'll have room for a pot stove and fuel with a couple dehydrated meals and some snacks. Every time I go out (even if it for just a couple miles) I'm' prepared to spend the night should anything go wrong. This rig make a perfect option to do just that.

This fanny pack is awesome! Just wish it was waterproof.
I have always had a hard time finding a fanny pack that would stay on me without being unreasonably tight. They all would slip down on my butt and drive me nuts. So this year before a long camping trip, I thought about the old H-Harness I wore with the Marines, which I carried all kinds of stuff on, comfortably. Amazon had this one, I got it, and love it. Night and day better than every fanny pack I tried that was just a belt. For most short day hikes, I don't need a pack this way. And it gives me, in easy reach, places to hang my InReach GPS and an extra battery/SD card/cleaning cloth for my camera. (Which is nicer than hanging ammo etc...!). And if I wanted to wear a pack with it, easily could. The piece de' resistance' is being able to easily carry my coffee cup and a water bottle, without the discomfort of overly tight fanny packs.Cons - I wish it was either waterproof, or had a waterproof cover for it, like most good camera bags do. I got caught in one downpour in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, and stuff got a little wet, though not bad. Would have been great to just be able to pull a waterproof cover out/up/over from a sleeve in the bottom! Also, would like it if the water bottle holders were a little taller, as I carry 1.5L water bottles in hot weather. But these are minimal concerns. This is great kit, and would buy it again in a minute.

Minimalist pack and harness with well thought-out design
There isn't too much to be said about it's features that isn't already shown on the official Helikon-Tex video about this. But the side pockets can stretch out surprisingly far and can accommodate a 64oz Kleen Kanteen bottle though you might have some trouble securing it for rough terrain. For me, I carry two Nalgene Oasis bottles instead (and GI-style canteens have no problems being secured by the cinch-ties).The combination of lumbar pack and minimalist H-harness is great for my needs. I am unable to wear standard lumbar packs without aid of a harness due to lower back issues but hate the majority of overly bulky H-harnesses on the market. If needed, you can buy additional shoulder pads if you look hard enough. Overall, I use this both for carrying some essentials and my lunch (in an urban environment) and for day hikes. Depending on your needs the Foxtrot can be a very light solution instead of carrying a bulky pack.Criticisms: Feel as if the zippers on the main pack don't go far back enough, limiting the size of items you can cram into it.It would have been nice if there more spots for MOLLE attachment points instead of just on the sides of the waist strap. The cinch-tie system for the side stretch pockets are fine for smaller water bottles but aren't that great for large ones.

Finally got one
Very well made...the canteen pockets could be designed with more height to accommodate taller water bottles. All in all good product.

You need this !
Check out 2 great product reviews on YouTube from Dave Canterbury and Corporals Corner. I got this to replace my Condor H harness and it's perfect. I also got the E&E pouch to go with it. Together they are the BEST H harness money can buy, hands down.

Buttpack with shoulder straps
A modernized TA50 3 day pack with two 1 liter bottle size pockets. I carry a 3x3meter Basha tarp on the straps under the buttpack. There are 2 Molle loops on the base of the waist belt on each side. the black waist strap is 2-ish inch bare nylon with fastex buckle. There is a chest strap. There are no fastening points/loops/rings on the suspenders. You can however, wear a second backpack or a 3 liter camelback bladder over it.

Great little pack
I had a cheap bum bag for summer trips up the hills but found it flopped about and once I had 2 litres of water in it, it was uncomfortable. The shoulder straps on this make a big difference. With a litre of water in each pocket, sit mat underneath, lunch and emergency kit inside and a fleece and trekking poles stuffed in the shock cord it was solid. I'd prefer longer shock cord on top and might add that myself.

Lightweight design
Great addition if you are looking to have some suitable equipment packed separately from your Daysack or small pack this aids that possibility.Enough space to carry suitable items for a possible emergency

Too small
It's too small for anything other than very short walks. It willnhold maybe some food and a couple.of bottles but not all your waterproofs etc too. The straps are very thin and any prolonged use or overloading of the pack would I suspect, make them dig into your shoulders.Buy the Helikon Foxtrot and an H harness . Bigger cheaper too and better MOLLE attachments.

Spitzen Teil
