Harry Potter and History: Wiley Pop Culture and History, Book 1

This is a great read for any fan of both history and Harry Potter. The author does a great job of interweaving the Potterverse with actual history. Readers will not be able to help but learn. I would not give this book to anyone under 14 years of age due to some of the more violent truths of history they may not be ready for.

I used this book for a project for a witchcraft course that I was taking in college. The information was really helpful and I got an A on the project. I enjoyed reading this. It's a great read for any Harry Potter fans.

If you are an OLD (65) Harry Potter freak like myself, this is an interesting book, well worth the price.

This isn't confirmed by JK Rowling but it seems to tie everything of the worlds history to the magical Harry Potter universe. I love how it touches on every subject including christianity. its a very good read. LOVE IT

Well written, interesting and informative.

This volume was not really what I expected. It was very hard to read. It does make a good addition to the Harry Potter collection.

I bought this book after hearing Nancy Reagin on the Mugglenet Academia podcast and it's terrific! There's a very wide scope of history covered by a wide variety of authors and the fun of the book is that "real" history is treated alongside wizarding history and you enjoyably learn lots about both. Highly recommended!
