I live in Cyprus where the daytime summer temperatures are well into the 30s C or even over 40C. I would never use these for a mobile phone or other delicate item because of the outside temps. But I mainly use them for "securing" the odd document. Lifting the document also lifts the pad as it is so "sticky" which is a nuisance. What I need is something that "sticks" to the car, but simply holds whatever is put on top.

The media could not be loaded.  The pads are very sticky to the touch, but are easily applied and removed. The stickiness does mean they will pick up dust and debris extremely easily which will reduce how well they stick, but fortunately they can be washed with water to clean and restore the stickiness.When using them, the flatter and smoother the surface, the harder they will hold on.I would recommend you consider these if you have a flat area on your dash, possibly an area designed to hold items anyway, and you want to stop items sliding/ rolling around. While they do help immobilise loose items, they won’t combat the forces of gravity. I certainly don’t recommend using them to store things on your windscreen as shown in the listing!At under a tenner for four they are good value, if you don't need four you can always share!

There are four pieces of sticky dash pads individually packed with plastic bags. They are soft and sticky and easy to apply on the dashboard. They can stay steadily but still easy to remove. The size is big enough for holding most of the smart phones. My phone did stay on the pad during my driving. Not sure about the durability as I haven’t used hem for long time but four pads should last quite a while.

Just peel off the top and bottom protection sheets and lay it on a smooth surface. Place items on top and it stops them sliding around. Items don’t actually stick to them but rather, it just holds them in place.To reuse, just peel off and stick somewhere else, if it starts to lose its tackiness, just wash them in warm water and they are back to their old tacky status. You get 4 of them in a pack, they are about 15x9cm in size, and they come in 2 design patterns.Lots of uses, not just for your car dashboard, work great, reusable and don’t leave any residue.

Got these as we have a few items across the top of the dashboard in the campervan, souvenirs and such.Using these pads they stay put (been using adhesive pads and even blu-tac previously!).Simple enough to use, and if they get dusty just wash them in running water to remove it and hey presto good as new again.Simple handy things and great for our purposes.

I'd never put my phone on the dashboard for safety reasons but they do work if that's your choice.I got these as I have an area in between the seats where I've not been able to put my phone as the area is too big for the phone and it keeps sliding around. I placed one of these mats in there and now my phone doesn't move. Perfect!
