I had never done any leather work before getting this kit. This kit has everything I needed and more. I've used it to alter leather tool rolls to make them a more secure fit. It has way more colors than I will probably ever use. Everything seems to be of decent quality and they way the kit is put together is very convenient (I put it on shelves with a bunch of other tools.

Looks like a good starter set. Has all the basics.

This set will get you started and help you to learn how to use some of these tools. The whole set cost less than half the price of just my one edge beveler set.I’ll admit, it shows in the quality and unfortunately the mediocre quality of the sharp edges makes working leather much harder than it should be. But for the price and to find out if you’re interested enough go to continue with this as a hobby, it’s not bad.One tool it is missing as a leather knife. Apart from the marking scribe, it’s probably the most used tool for leather working, but I guess you’ll have to make do with marking wheels that you’ll never use intead, and buy a leather knife separately.

Very nice kit. Has most everything you will need to work leather (except tooling designs).

I was amazed at the quantity and quality of leather working tools included in this kit. I used it to replace two failing straps on my backpack and sew brass shackles onto them. Worked like a charm. Gratitude to whoever in China put this together.

I bought this to DIY my leather bean bags for my wedding Cornhole boards I also DIYed. This kit makes it super easy to get a feel for sewing leather, the threads are very thick and durable, there are many different colors to choose from. This is a beginner friendly kit if you have no experience with sewing or leather work.

Lots of tools too make leather working easier.
