Adapter for Bosch GBA 18V Battery to PBA Tool, for Bosch Professional 18V System Battery and Work for Home Garden Tool Green Series, Replace for all Batteries

Bosch tools are very misleading and do not make it clear which battery is compatible with which power tool. I bought a bosch trimmer because they claimed their batteries are universal,but the ones I have for my drill and screwdriver also Bosch did not fit. Their customer service and complaints just fobbed me off. The battery is almost as expensive as a tool. So when I found this to enable use of my existing batteries I was delighted. It works a treat. Have read reviews about shorting out and draining battery when not in use, haven't had any shorts, and I always disconnect from battery when not in use. The descriptions of these converters is often confusing, so you have to read very carefully to check it's converting from the battery you have to the tool you are using.

I did not know that there were different 18V Bosch Batteries until I tried to swap them! I thought that the "All for" system worked for all Bosch devices. This low cost adpator enables me to use my Bosch Professional batteries (I have two for my drill) on my garden and other power tools which use the "all for" system. This has saved me buying new batteries. I now have enough for all my tools and more.

Excellent! Bit stiff on first fitting butoosenes up in a few uses. Holds battery securely to tool and not too cumbersome. Will be buying the opposite soon. This will increased both home and pro bosch equipment power capacity from 2/3 batts to 5.

I mainly use Bosch Pro kit (blue 18v) but wanted a router for occasional use and couldn't justify the Pro version so went for the green version. With this adaptor on the router I can now use the batteries from my Pro range on the router without any issues. Good positive location of the battery, works exactly as you'd expect.

This works perfectly to adapt the old Bosch AL batteries into the new all in one types! I have four AL batteries and two chargers, so now I'm all set for anxiety free cordless vacuuming:) I do have to wonder why Bosch didn't make one of these themselves? The only incompatibility is the new shoe plate, the cells are still 18650 standard. It reeks of planned obsolescence to me... 5 star product!!!

I leave this permanently on my edge trimmer, so I can use it with my Pro-series 4Ah 18V battery pack. It does add minimum height to the battery-box and it is easy to remove the pro-battery. Allows me to just have one type of batteries for all my tools and part with the consumer-green battery and charger. Does exactly what it promises to do and works as expected (actually, it works better than what I expected). Would buy this adapter again.
