The show is BRILLIANT,....but the dvds won’t work in the USA.

Great tool for teaching world history for once instead of everything geared towards US history, need a non-regional DVD player though, order one of those too.

Bought it for my grandson,he loved it and thought it was very funny.

Bad buyer!!!!! buyer originally listed as US DVD. It’s not and now they have changed the description and I’m stuck with 6 DVDs we cannot watch. we discovered this series when we were in Scotland last summer. this is a hysterical & educational series. Wish we could watch them.

I love Horrible Histories, my children love horrible histories. This box set should really get five out of five and it would have done if it hadn't been for the sixth series. The new cast in series six just haven't got the comedic presence of the previous cast. So instead of the inane and irreverent shenanigans that we had come to know and love; series six just proves a little bit awkward and embarrassing, although the celebrity cameos are fun. Don't get me wrong I have loved watching the rest of the compilation and the outtakes are utterly hilarious. Just don't get your hopes up for series six.

I started watching Horrible Historys on netflix with only 2 seasons and it took a while but i love it now. One of my fav series to date. Its full of historical facts that are so hard to believe when its told to you. But what you stop and think.. it really does add up. Its fun to watch, the actors/actresses are great characters on screen and its damn right funny from start to finish with its witty jokes and songs that get better and better as the series goes on specialy as you start to notice alot of the songs are paradies of all times greats like u2 kings of leon and more. You wont get another series that isnt afraid of steping over some bounds be full of knoweldge and be appealing for children and to me a 26 year old. If you havent seen it and feel like surpriseing your history teacher at school buy this. You wont regret it.

Horrible histories is a favourtite with children and adults alike everywhere. This box set comes with an individual clear perspex disc holder for each disc, no double backing, no over lapping, very pretty to the eye. Horrible Histories themselves are educational and entertaining with exceptional factual information passed on in a memorable way. A must have for all family homes.

Am pretending I have bought this 'for work' but really this is one of the funniest TV programmes ever! One problem with the DVD is there is no details of the content of the episodes. I guess I will just have to watch them all to find the bits I need for my lessons on Victorian inventions then...hey ho.....

Very enjoyable, even my 6-year old granddaughter couldn't stop laughing at some of the scenes, although I did need to explain parts of the video to her. She looked forward to viewing one DVD each evening before she went to bed. I think 8-12 year olds would certainly appreciate the humour more and at the same time benefit from the knowledge of history it offers. Well worth buying the complete boxed of DVDs - very good value offered by amazon.
