Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One and Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two offered together in with all-new special features. Review: Review (no spoilers) - Great animated film! Film is long, but doesn’t drag. High-paced action, entertaining for adults but appropriate for younger Bat-fans. Presents several Batman villains, and the story leaves you guessing until the end. Review: An excellent adaptation of the classic graphic novel - This is based on Batman's famous graphic novel "The Long Halloween" which served as a big template for Nolan's "The Dark Knight" as it tells the tale of how Batman, Harvey Dent, and Gordon join forces to take down a new mysterious serial killer. It has a few action scenes that were added on which I think help out the pacing of this 3 hour long movie (Both parts 1 and 2). All the performances are stellar, especially Jensen Ackles who I wish could play him in live action as well. The animation is solid and I enjoy the style a lot more than the crayon like outlines of the recent Crisis movies, but it sometimes can feel a little too Archer-like, Bruce Wayne looks incredible similar to him here. The story still resonates all these years later and makes for a great watch for Halloween, as despite it taking place across a year, it still preserves those dark muted tones and scenes inspired by the season. I enjoyed the film more than the actual comic as I feel the comics art style was a bit too abstract for my taste. A great Batman film for fans, but casual viewers may find the excessive length a little distracting.

Very well done.
The voice acting, the animation. Really solid release. Not my favorite Batman tale, but this is worth a watch. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade to 4K from Blu-Ray, but the price is not much of a difference so I went with 4K. Be interesting to see how much they are going to use from this story for the live action sequel to The Batman.

A Dark and Brilliant Detective Tale
Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition is a must-watch for any true Batman fan. The animation is stunning, the story is gripping, and the voice acting is top-notch. It masterfully blends mystery, crime, and psychological tension, staying true to the noir roots of the original comic. The pacing is strong, and the Deluxe Edition presents the story as one seamless experience, which makes it even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect mix of detective work, Gotham’s dark atmosphere, and Batman’s inner struggles.

One of my favorite Batman movies!
I know the Tomorrowverse is hit or miss in terms of plot quality but this is easily one of my absolute favorite Batman movies. The animation is gorgeous, the run time really allows the plot to cook with a decent pace, and the voice acting is as good as it can be without Mark Hamill or Kevin Conroy. Even though the criticisms of some of the other movies in this run are fair I would still give this one a shot. As for the product it's a bluray so the quality is... pretty standard for your run of the mill bluray. But it arrived well packaged and undamaged and the disc was actually in place instead of bouncing around the case in transit so A+ there too.
