Best investment in a while
Reads the entire BCM, PCM, and trouble codes plus can go online to diagnose codes and see what they mean

Best scanner ever.
Really a terrific device, if only I could program key fobs, but it does everything it's promoted on.

Great for the money
So I had an issue with my car after getting the transmission replaced. Whenever I turned left for the first time I’d get a Hill Hold disabled fault, a EPS System Fault, and my ABS light would come on and My Traction Control light would come on. Also, it disabled my cruise control. I was so annoyed because when the lights would clear after turning off the car so when I turned it on and start driving the diagnostic codes didn’t pop until a certain condition was met. When that condition was met the lights would pop on and the abs would engage slamming the car to a stop…. So I found a work around by starting the car and immediately turn the steering wheel to full left lock and engaging the fault. The problem was that the car is no longer in production and the manufacturer is no longer producing cars in the us making solving the problem even harder. With that, this device was a life saver. I was able to use the steering angle sensor feature to reset and calibrate my steering angle sensor which lost proper calibration when the steering components were removed for the transmission swap. Thank the heavens for this device being robust and at this price point. I would definitely recommend.

Excelente herramienta y económica
Excelente herramienta.

Lies!!!!!!
You said it would relearn my TCM. That’s the only reason why I bought this and it doesn’t do that. You surely bent me over.

Not terribly happy with this, nearly returned it, but it's good for the price.
I originally wrote a highly critical review for this item, with good reason, but decided that I was overly unkind. It's a relatively new item and they still have a lot of bugs to work out of it. It is a diagnostic scanner rather than just an OBD II reader, which means it can give some valuable information. The documentation is quite poor. I recommend downloading the instructions and reading it yourself before buying to see if you can use the device. They don't have decent documentation available anywhere to download and what they send is pretty useless. There are several hundred cars that you can use this scanner on and all have some variation in what can and cannot be measured. With this in mind, I imagine writing decent instructions would be a bit of a challenge. You can be fairly certain that you will experience some frustration while trying to use this device. I bought it to run AC diagnostics on a 2011 Sonata. The ECU stream provides useful information but the AC system diagnostics won't connect. It turns out for this model car, this is a problem for most non-factory scanners. I can't say whether or not it will work for other cars.I'm a pretty good shade tree mechanic, so this scanner is probably overkill, tool-wise. However, todays cars are getting to the point where so much is controlled by the computers in the car that if you don't know what the computer is seeing or how it's interpreting the data, you really can't perform repairs that were relatively simple twenty years ago. The ECU stream from the scanner told me that the AC pressure was good and all the sensors were sending the right signals. It told me the ECU was sending an off signal to the compressor, but not why. The bidirectional support didn't work for this car so I couldn't tell it to send an "on" instruction. It also didn't provide the pwm voltage for the controller, though considering it was "off" it would have just been a 4 volt flatline. If you're looking for dealer style scanner information you won't get it, but then again it's is a tenth the price. This device isn't going to hand you the answer giftwrapped, you will likely have to work out the problem yourself, but it does give you additional information to find your answers. If you've ever paid for unnecessary parts from a dealer, then you are aware that the giftwrapped answers from the very expensive scanners aren't always right either. Solving problems is all about having the right information, This device provides you with additional data. In my case it ruled out a lot of potential problems and prevented me from wasting time and money on unneeded parts. In it's first use, it was not quite useful enough to pay for for itself, but after the next few repairs it should get there.

Works as advertised.
I have to say, this thing works great.I bought it for a few older vehicles I have, and wanted to not use my expensive Bluetooth connected one. The Bluetooth ones don't always work with the 1996-1999 vehicles. But, this thing works perfectly fine.It is slow, but has not disappointed so far.If you need a good OBD2 reader that works on MANY manufacturers, this thing does a great job. Can easily erase codes, and do the job.It doesn't do some certain things well (like reading the VIN from the computer), but like I said, the basic job, it does very well.
