I love this lunchbox! I purchased it for myself as I am adult who loves sharks and there are not so many fun adult options. It works perfectly for packing my lunches and carries just enough. It also has a neat little separator container for a larger variety of items packed. There is also room for extra things in the matching lunch bag which I also purchased. People have stated concerns with the weight of this little box. Well, it’s stainless steel, it has a bit of heft but it’s not bad. Besides, have you seen how some of these kids pack their backpacks!? This lunchbox is the least of worry! ;) Other reviews speak of the quality being bad and the graphic peeling off in the dishwasher. While it does say it’s dishwasher safe it mentions “top shelf” dishwasher safe. The product will hold up in the dishwasher but I do not believe this is as true for the graphic on the lid. Under water pressure and heat it will peel over time. With that in mind, I hand wash it. It’s easy to clean. The only drawback I had purchasing this box was the price. While $59 is hefty, it is stainless steel and of a good quality, which should last. It has a warranty so if it has issues, utilize it. However, you can’t use the box as a hockey puck, hammer, or just be plain careless and expect coverage. It’s warranty for defect, not insurance. One point of confusion is the box states a 5 year warranty and the care pamphlet says it has a two year warranty. If you do have any issues I would suggest getting clarification on that from Bentgo. If you want a fun, stylish and easy option for lunch for your kids or yourself give it a go!!I love mine!

Finally found the perfect lunchbox for my kid. Stainless is the way to go! I love the Bento Brand have always purchased their plastic style boxes until now. Better for your health especially for your kid. I will say filled or not this stainless steel has a little wight to it. My daughter barely carries anything in her school backpack when I place this it does make it a tad heavy. Definitely leak proof seals tight and even keeps the food a tad warm until lunch time. I love the squares but the fit is bigger than their original plastic lunchboxes. As long as you wash right away smell shouldn't be a problem - my daughter did forget once over the weekend but even then just the food residue smelled didn't effect anything else. Girly colors and easy to use 10/10 recommend!

Those needing a fully leak-proof box for soups may want a different style. Tip: Let the lid air-dry fully after washing to keep the seal working properly. Overall, this lunch box has held up well with regular use and makes packing lunches straightforward and organized. It feels thoughtfully designed and practical for everyday school routines. My daughter loves taking this to school for her lunches. Super cute and I love that it’s not plastic. It being dishwasher safe is a huge plus as well.

I was very excited to receive this product, after searching and reading for hours this was a brand that offered verified quality and safety, the first disappointment was when I took it out of the packaging, the size is so big that it wouldn't even fit in a lunchbox and extremely heavy for a little one in kindergarten, also a little complicated to open because the silicone compacts with the aluminum so you need to apply a lot of force to release it, and it is also complicated to close because you have to make sure you raise the lid before lowering it, too much for small children, the worst thing is that I paid $ 60 for this lunchbox and I received something that looks used, it is stained and although it is said to be stainless steel it has rust marks, really disappointed, I am returning it.

Perfect for kids

Has a good seal, we've not had any issues with leaking but the hinge requires to close a certain way or it won't latch and the paint is peeling off the top. We hand wash the lunch boxes so there's no reason this should be peeling. It's unfortunate because this seemed like a good option to reduce plastic use but now I worry about my kid ingesting paint flakes.

This lunchbox is definetly a step up from the old model, I love the portion sizes, the slim fit, the latches are better, and it's all one piece so no extra pieces to clean! My son loves that it matches his lunchbag. It fits snug in thelunchbox,, but because it's thinner it still allows for ice packs or other things to go in with it. The only complaint my son had was that I put mixed fruit in the little silicone cup, and it leaked onto his sandwich in the same compartment. My fault, it was the first time using this so I wasn't sure how it would work. Next time I won't put anything liquid in that specific compartment. Otherwise, it was completely leak proof and kept the food good till lunch!

The stainless steel part of the received product has a large scratch, and the outer packaging box is also severely damaged. It appears that a returned item was sent out again. This product is not in a sellable condition and will be discarded. Replacement option is not exhist so need to return and buy again.

What a great lunch box! Almost indestructible. The closures were a bit stiff at first but work in very well. Good investment.
