very nice home clipper set
These Vetmor Cordless Hair Clippers seem like a great set. I’ve had long hair since I retired 10 years ago. But even when my hair was businessman short, I kept it trimmed below the temple and the top of the ear. I’ve always had a pair of quality German moustache scissors that I use for this purpose, and for trimming my nose hairs. Since I retired, I’ve bought some clamshell-style clips to get all the longer hair pulled up out of the way of the trimming. This after I accidentally cut some of the longer hairs. I’ve tried to let those grow out, but when they’re a few months shy of long enough for the pony tail tie, they tend to find their way into my mouth when I’m eating. So once the longer hairs are cut it’s pretty much for the duration.I keep my hair long to save money. I had it long in my 20s when I was a performing musician, and I’m ok with having it long in my 70s. I’ve thought about getting it cut (I almost cut my hair) since the pandemic, but for various reasons, I haven’t. I ordered these clippers at no cost for purposes of reviewing. And I got pro cutting and thinning stylist scissors. And a set of rattail combs. I’m not sure I’m up for cutting my own hair back to businessman short, but if I don’t, I still expect to use all these tools. If I ever have a house guest who has cut men’s hair, I’m all set though.I used the trimmer without guard combs, combing my temple/sideburn hair forward with a comb, and cut on an angle, as I’ve always done. And this electric trimmer did a nice job in short order. I had my long hair pulled back and up with clamshell-style clips, to keep it out of the way of cutting surfaces. I still didn’t feel confident using the electric trimmer for the ear side of the temple/sideburn area, so I used the new pro stylist scissors for that. Those scissors did a nice job as well. Using these two new tools cut the time to do this cutting.I’m glad to have this set of electric clippers and trimmer, and have no reason not to recommend it. Even though I didn’t give it a full workout with all the guard combs.

Didn't last long
Purchased in October and the edgers have stopped working already and the main clipper do not stay in position. The adjustment lever moves as you are cutting, even after tightening. There are 3 speeds to each clipper but the clippers have a tendency to pull instead of cut at each speed.I think I will go back to corded.

Includes both a hair clipper and T-Blade trimmer clipper + zippered case. Dodaer brand. Pricey.
I've reviewed dozens of clipper kits over the past couple of years. It turns out that most of the clippers are apparently made by only a handful of factories, with various nameplates attached, different boxes, and variations in what is included in the kit. The general quality of these clippers is surprisingly good these days. The clippers in this kit are no exception. This particular kit is at the high end of things, in that it contains two clippers: A full-sized cliper that can be used to trim the hair on the top of your head, and a second, smaller, T-Blade type clipper which is useful for trimming your beard, the hair on the back of your neck or other body hair.A summary of the parts in this kit:** Full-sized clipper with metal case, adjustable head gap, LCD charge speed readouts** T-Blade clipper with metal case, fixed head gap (not quite 0-gapped!), LCD charge, and speed readout** Both clippers can be adjusted from 5000-6500 rpm in 500rpm increments** 8 plastic black-colored length guides for the full-sized clipper** 4x black length guides for the T-blade clipper** 2x USB charging cables** Clipper oil** A small cleaning brush** A zipped carrying caseAs noted, this kit is unusual in that it includes both the full-sized and T-blade clippers and a zippered carrying case. The styling of the clippers is matched, and they are aesthetically pretty (black). The LCD readouts are nice. Having rpm speed adjustments is a cute touch, but in my experience, I'll just use the highest speed and be done with it. The other speeds don't add much usefulness. My main complaint here is that the T-Blade clipper is not quite 0-gapped (see photos). This means it will do a decent job of cutting your hair back, but won't cut as close as many T-Blade clippers which are entirely 0-gapped. (You'll need to decide if that's important to you). The clippers are also not rated for water resistance. The zippered case is a nice touch. However, there is no molded insert, so the stuff just jostles around. Still, most kits like this don't include a case at all, so anything is better than that.On the whole, it's nice to have both types of clippers in one package. They are used for different purposes, and it's nice to have a matched set. That said, the T-Blade clippers are not 0-gapped, and the current price of this kit is substantially more than you could pay for decent quality full-sized and T-Blade clippers separately. So you'll need to decide how much the superior aesthetics and having everything in one box mean to you.Pros:** Both full-sized & T-Blade clippers** Zippered case** Plenty of length guards** Speed adjustments on the clippers** Includes clipper oilCons:** Clippers do not use standard USB-C charging ports** No molded insert for the case** T-Blade clippers are not quite 0-gapped** Pricey for a kit of this kind.
