We hadn't tried UV resin before but had used standard resin so thought we wanted to give it a go, this needs no mixing like standard resin which is great but also this kit has everything to get started, bezels, cord necklaces for the finished items to hand on, keyrings, jump rings, lots of beautiful mica powders and glitters plus tassels and a small UV lamp plus more and all from a very well known make at a really good price, the only thing I found slightly disappointing was the UV lamp only works while plugged in so I need to work close but as it only takes anything from 60 seconds to a few minutes to cure under the UV lamp it's no real issue, if you haven't worked with UV resin before it much thicker than standard resin and a little harder to get rid of any bubbles although you also get so many fewer bubbles, for example if I'm doing a tiny necklace I may have no bubbles or just one, either way we have already purchased more UV resin and now a larger "let's resin" double UV lamp which has a shelf to cure above and below at the same time, we've definitely caught the resin jewellery bug, super fun, super easy and wonderful to gift, a great size box and a huge UV resin bottle is included, even though we've purchased a new bottle, we haven't used more than maybe half of this one as with jewellery resin a little goes a long way

I was happy with this starter kit. The light has kept working and the resin followed well. I used it over paintings rather than the fixings included. It would be a great starter kit for someone

Absolutely fantastic kit! My 9 year old Grandson loved it and quickly learnt how to do it all himself. It is actually advertised for adults so of course he was supervised at all times. Hardly any smell at all. Great fun and something different from ordinary craft items. Having the lamp is a huge plus. I highly recommend this. The photos are of pieces my Grandson made.

All products were in the box, but the gloves were missing. Instructions are very easy to follow and the quality of the items is good.

Nice little kit for beginners

This pack arrived yesterday morning and I've been busy thinking of new ideas and making items. It's a learning curve, and I recommend looking up a YouTube video or two just to make sure you know what you're doing. The kit contains everything you need to start, but you will probably want to expand your choice of moulds before long. The bottle of UV resin is huge for a starter kit - 250ml go a long way. Note: make sure you're not crafting in direct sunlight. And if you want to try using a mica powder, don't use it in the molds, it won't cure in the middle. Tip: if you use the little mixing bowl and have some resin left over, pour little droplets on to the tape, you can use them as little beads for decoration. My criticism: the tools are soft silicone, a bit too soft for my liking. But you can use a wooden toothpick for moving the resin into the edges and popping bubbles. I don't like the space themed stickers, but that's my personal taste. The jump rings are a little bit too small if you fill the moulds right up to the top, and want to have a domed finish. Bur really, I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants to give it a go. It's brilliant.

I have to admit it was a great choice... my daughter was delighted... and so was I... we made some great jewelry... my daughter also made some for her friends... everyone was delighted... I love anything that gets kids away from the computer and allows them to be creative... I recommend it to everyone...

For a while I've been meaning to get my daughter into resin crafts, she's watched me mix resin and pigment for quite some time and has asked me to buy her some but it was too difficult for her to work on ratio, the UV resin kit helped with this massively... as its just plug and pour and play, she was over the moon when she received this and made what's in the pictures above, I did get a little worried that I'd recieve the old UV lamp that they say is a surprise pick off the shelf so I emailed and had the most wonderful service they could offer, however I did I'm the end recieve the newer model and the email was unnecessary but I was met with a polite and kind individual who helped me out either way... The resin kit is very easy to use and comes with everything a beginner artist would need, it takes next to nothing for it to cure under the UV lamp although I'd advise going feom 150s - 90s - 60s in that order.. that has given my daughter the best results so far for smaller jewellery type pieces, the pigments and glitters are very vibrant and plentiful.. you'll be surprised how little goes a long way, the UV lamp is the smaller variant so if you want to do multiple pieces at a time I'd invest in a bigger one but for what we used it for is perfect. Now my daughter can have fun making crafts with her dad thanks again for your support and whoever buys with will not be disappointed 😊

The UV light size is smaller than expected and the device is not as the picture it is the old not the upgraded UV device.. I am disappointed..

Great beginner resin set!! I got this for my daughter’s 13th birthday and she has absolutely loved using it! She has been able to use it independently; instructions that came with the set were easy for her to understand and the resin works wonderfully with the UV light provided. She has used the molds to make keychains and necklace pendants. The dried flowers and glitter that came with the set have allowed her to make beautiful pendants! Definitely recommend as a first intro kit for resin-making jewelry!!
