Decent White brightness for the price - Poor support from company
I bought two of these to try out as introductory smart bulbs because they're not super expensive (compared to other smart bulbs) and I didn't know how much I'd really use the functionality. When I received them, I got them set up and they seemed to work pretty well, setup was pretty quick and painless with the app and they were pretty responsive. As far as light given from the bulb, it's pretty solid when you have it on the White setting, and changing the brightness on it works great. However, when you change it to be colors, you can immediately see a decrease in brightness. Some of this is because when you choose a color it automatically sets the brightness to 50%, but even when you turn it up, it never really gets as bright as it is when it's not colored.About a half hour after setting up the bulbs, one of the two turned itself on. I went into the app and tried to turn it back off only to find it had fallen offline. I tried the troubleshooting I could find online and in the packaging, which left a lot to be desired. There is no direct support on the products website that I could find, so I ended up having to search around for someone with a similar problem. When I couldn't resolve the issue myself, I ended up submitting a ticket with the company's support. They said to expect 1-2 business days for response which is fine, the bulb still turns on and off with a switch like a regular bulb but at $25 a pop,it needs to do more. Fast forward a week, and and extra email later asking for updates and the rep only told me to perform the exact troubleshooting I said I did in the initial ticket. At this point I did it again just to make sure I didn't do something wrong, and sure enough it's still not working. I'm currently in my second week of not hearing back from their support team and it's getting pretty frustrating considering I've spent $25 on what is ending up to be a generic $5 or less LED bulb. If we can ever get this resolved I'll be happy to come back and revise my review but so far this is not good support what so ever.

Great no hub option
Ive installed 4 of these lights in my kitchen ceiling with relative ease. My 3 year old loves the light changing features. My wife was skeptical at first has come to appreciate the feature as well. Add in the option for dimming and it can add plenty of ambiance to you room. The geeni app is basic but effective. Grouping lights and naming is easy enough. The set up process can be improved but if you set up one light at a time it will be easier. Trust me set up one light at a time on a lamp or a easy to reach light. So far I've had no disconnecting issue or performance problem with the lights. I'm using Google home to change the lights via voice commands. This way of interacting with the lights could be better. I'm not sure if it's google or geeni. I'm gong to say google because the geeni app works flawlessly. The lights don't require a hub to work which is why i gravitated to them in the first place. Just set up the lights, get the app, and pair your geeni account with google. That was it.

Awesome BR30 colored Bulbs!!
Bought a bunch of these to see if they could replace the ridiculously priced Phillips Hue colored bulbs. They work absolutely wonderful,,.i can buy four of these for the price of one of my Phillips hue colored/white bulbs,.once you know how to connect and have done a couple, it literally takes 12 seconds to connect a new bulb to the app. I can now control all the lights in my Home theater room with Alexa, all with no hub! Not sure why so many are having isusues with them. They are so easy to connect. Planning to buy many more.

Wide Color Range!
I purchased these hoping they would match up to another Geeni light I had purchased from Walmart, however these were different. However, these are much brighter than the one I got from Walmart, and I only needed two of these rather than three of the others.Set up is easy, but you have to have connection to 2.4gz Wifi. This is my first smart home product, and didnt want to start out with Philip Hue lights in case this just wasnt my 'thing' and for the money, I couldnt be happier. I'm excited to buy more and customize my homes lighting. It's a relatively cheap way to make changes to your home to make it match whatever mood youre feeling. I have noticed that the lights sometimes have a hard time connecting. It appears you can only create groups if youre using the same exact model bulb, so i wasnt able to add my first bulb to pair with these.

Doesn't work with 5 ghz network.
It doesn't connect to my WiFi. Tried multiple times, first you have to download the App for Geeni, which is a pain because I already have to use the Alexa App for my smart home items. Well the App says it won't work on 5 ghz network. So my lights have been blinking all night trying to get it to connect to the App and it won't work. Will be returning this and hopefully find something that works on Alexa without having to download an additional app.

Like others have stated
Like others have stated, colors definitely aren't bright, but for me they are fine.Setting up the app and sync to the lights went pretty good. Only hangup was I had my phone on my 5k network and the lights use 2.4k so they failed twice before I realized the issue. Changed my phone over to the 2.4k and sync went just fine. Then added the skill to my Amazon echo, found the devices. No problems there.Haven't spent a ton of time on them, but one thing I need to figure out if its possible to put them in the special modes like whats shown in the manufactures app. Doubt I'd use that feature much but would be nice to know if it does work.No complaints at the price point.

No alexa
Pues el foco funciona bien con la app y hay que crear una cuenta para usar la app. Es luz amarilla he ilumina bien pero la iluminación de colores es muy tenue, casi sólo de adorno. No hay skill en México para usarse con alexa.

Constant disconnection
This is my second purchase of Geeni products.. why is didn't learn my first time I don't know. Iand after almost a year of using them all I can say is if you're going to go with smart lights. Go with Philips. These bulbs will arbitrarily disconnect and enter it's default quick blinking connection mode requiring you to set it up from scratch again. Now imagine this strobing effect in a dark room but with multiple bulbs happening at different times whenever they feel like it... not fun.I feel like Geeni made a bad product. And I'm sorry I wasted my money on them.
