Honestly love this little thing and I've purchased two, it's beautiful to look at and works great. My only complaint is that it juuuuust barely fits on wide mouth mugs. It's so precarious that I've accidentally tipped it off the mug before, spilling hot coffee grounds. I still love it though, just have to be extra careful when getting it set up so that it balances correctly.

Edited review: I returned the damaged product and they sent me a new one that arrived the next day! The new one has been great! No coffee seeping into the double wall. Thank you seller for standing behind your product!Old review: So disappointed in this item. Gave this to my husband for Father’s Day but after his first use the coffee got between the double walls. :(

Dripper is really Beautiful but too delicate to use daily. Mine arrived packed in its box with bubble wrap but it still had a small crack in the bottom of the unit. That tells me that it must be pretty fragile and to use on a daily basis would most certainly end up with it being broken even if the unit I received had not been cracked on arrival. The glass is quite nice, and I really would have loved to keep it, but for me, I think the glass is just too fragile. I give it 5 stars for beauty and functionallity but deduct 1 star due to its delicate nature.

Since living in Europe for so many years my husband became a bit of a coffee snob. He loves this thing. Says the only other things close to this are the French press and his mokapot. He’s gotten 3 others for gifts for his friends because they also loved it.

I definitely thought it was going to be a usual pour over brewer, but in this case I was pleasantly surprised the quality is very good, its ease of use and ability to clean easily work towards its advantage. Overall with the right filter I would easily recommend this.

I regularly use a Chemex which also makes great coffee. But the Tornado is better IMHO especially if you like stronger coffee. A word of warning on filters. You need Brewista’s #1 filters, not just standard #1. They need to be cone shaped at the bottom.

Amazing dripper for high flow recipes. The glass looks amazing and the ribs do a great job managing the flow. Totally recommended. Also dual wall insulation helps keeping the brew mass at a constant temperature and the exterior cool.

Received the first one with a crack on the bottom rim. Request a replacement from Amazon. The replacement also have a crack, at the top rim this time. In both deliveries the shipping boxes and original product boxes were intact when delivered. I suspect they were cracked while packing into the product box or during storage in the warehouse, before packing into the shipping box. I would suggest stronger protective bubble wrap inside the product box, which will make the box bigger and also more expensive to make?Despite the crack I tried make coffee with the first dripper I received. I do like the dripper in its appearance, good flow rate and reasonable flavored coffee. Though I doubt the double glass has any thing to do with the flavor. The time the hot water spent on the dripper before filtering down to the mug will be too short to make any difference, evne when the water get cold down by a few degrees in winter. I tried a double glass mug to receive the coffee which keep the coffee warm during the dripping. Will order some other brand dripper since a replacement will likely be cracked again. No stronger glass with reasonable cost to make this dripper?
