Solid wood, go ahead and get the cushion too
This is a nicely designed chair and solid/sturdy. The assembly instructions were unclear in some sections but 2 people assembled it in about 40 minutes.

Easy to put together. Sturdy. Just got them hopefully they will hold up well. I love my chair. It sits comfortably on my porch. Was easy to assemble, took me about 30 minutes to assemble.

Good but not great
It was easy to assemble, but it left black marks on the tile floors when it came off while rocking. However, it was perfect for our needs, allowing us to rock our baby outside or in the living room. It’s not too heavy to carry from one room to the other.

Delivered today and put it together after work. Was amazed that the top half was all one piece, just had to put the arms on after setting uo the base. Very comfortable, isn't too low if you're in the fence. We love it. Do yourself a favor and buy a chair pad for it. Bought it for the wife but I'll be gaming in it. Looks awesome.

Easy to assemblr
Nice comfortable rocker that is pretty easy to put together with two people. One person might find it more challenging. But definitely worth the effort as it looks attractive and rocks well.
