I’m really happy with this steamer! I got it to de-crease clothes I’m selling on Vinted, and it’s been a total win. It heats up in about a minute and gives a strong, steady steam that smooths clothes quickly without leaving them damp. I can do around six or seven items before needing to refill the detachable water tank, and it’s light enough to hold comfortably. I’ve also started using it to freshen up bed sheets between washes and to get creases out of clean sheets once they’re on the bed, it’s so easy. It even works brilliantly for steaming the sofa after my dog’s been on it, keeping everything fresh without fuss. Good power, great design, and fab quality for the price. Highly recommend!

Does the job, but leaks very easily, especially during steaming which causes my clothes to get water stains. It also comes with too many attachments which is confusing and long. However, it is much more comfortable to use than other hand held steamers that I have tried before. Size: The size of the steam plate is a good size, better and big than other steamers. Value for money: Good price, does the job, good sturdy quality Ease of use: Easy to use, attachments are a bit fiddly, annoying and confusing. Ironing ability: Irons well, does what it needs to do but can end up leaking (which many other steamers do too) Steam output: It does not generate too much steam, but still ends up ironing clothes perfectly Crease removal: Removes creases within seconds depending on the material, more heavy dresses with embroidery can take longer compared to just plain materials. Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product due to Russel Hobbs, I have used their products for years and they have lasted me forever, I know I can trust the durability of this product, as other steamers have broken down within months of use. Update: I have also realised, it does use a lot of water a once, which may be frustrating to have to refill continuously especially if you are steaming a heavy, work-detailed dress (Pakistani clothing). For simple shirts etc it is fine.

Saw this iron being used on love island and thought it looked handy. Warning...iron is heavier than it looks BUT its brilliant. If like me, you hate ironing with a passion. I tend to iron my 2 year olds clothes with it mainly because personally i only opt for clothes that don't need ironing but won't let my daughter go looking like shes climbed out the wash pile. The steam is strong and its extremely easy to use and does a good job on her little clothes. If you have a massive ironing basket full of your husbands shirts...go for a bigger yet lighter iron. If you're an iron as you go kinda person, I'd recommend!

Very good but you do have to fill it up with water quite a few times if you have a large pile of items to be ironed. Excellent results and easy to use.

Unfortunately, I wanted a steamer, one that produced steam at high power to refresh garments and to use whilst making clothes. If this is what you want, there are better alternatives. However, if you are looking for an iron and want to save a bit of money on a very good alternative, this is an excellent purchase. It is relatively small and very easy to handle. You still need a flat, heatproof surface on which to iron, if you don't have an ironing board that is. I like this in particular as you are not applying heat to a fabric, it's just the steam that's working but you do press down on the unit, you don't direct the steam in a general direction, it gets into the fibres by pressing the plate down onto the garment/item and the stem then is pushed through the fibres. It definitely isn't for travel, it's quite heavy but the fact that it's sturdy means it's more effective when used, because it's not based on a shot of steam. I do hope this makes sense.

Il fatto di non dover utilizzare l’asse da stiro è un grande vantaggio: si possono stirare i capi direttamente appesi, cosa che trovo ideale soprattutto per camicie, giacche e abiti. Il riscaldamento è rapido e in meno di un minuto è pronto all’uso, perfetto per sistemare un capo all’ultimo momento prima di uscire. Il vapore, abbinato alla funzione di aspirazione, aiuta a rimuovere facilmente le pieghe leggere e medie senza dover ripassare più volte sulla stessa zona. L’ho trovato particolarmente efficace su tessuti come cotone non troppo spesso, materiali leggermente elasticizzati, chiffon e tessuti misti, dove il risultato è ordinato e naturale. I comandi sono semplici e intuitivi, la piastra in ceramica scorre bene sui tessuti e il cavo lungo offre una buona libertà di movimento durante l’utilizzo. È giusto però considerare che non sostituisce completamente un ferro da stiro tradizionale: sulle pieghe più profonde o sui capi che richiedono una stiratura molto precisa il risultato non è lo stesso. Lo trovo più adatto a ritocchi rapidi, a capi già quasi stirati, appena usciti dall’asciugatrice o dalla valigia, o semplicemente a chi non cerca una perfezione assoluta. Anche l’autonomia del vapore, di circa sei o sette minuti, richiede qualche ricarica se si devono trattare molti capi di seguito. Nel complesso resta comunque una soluzione pratica e ben studiata per la gestione quotidiana degli indumenti, ideale per chi vuole risparmiare tempo e semplificare la stiratura senza rinunciare a un risultato più che soddisfacente.

Seit einiger Zeit benutze ich den Russell Hobbs Steam Genie und bin ganz zufrieden mit dem Dampfglätter. Es erspart das nervige bügeln und die Wäsche wird mit Dampf geglättet. Schln ist auch das lange Kabel. Der Russel Hobbs hat drei Einstellungen. Einmal nur Dampf, geringe Saugkraft und kräftige Saugkraft, je nachdem welche Stoffe man glätten möchte. Ich lasse meine Kleidung auf dem Bügel trocknen und mit dem Russell Hobbs geht das glätten recht schnell. Sogar Vorhänge werden an der Stange faltenfrei. Es funktioniert auf jeden Fall toll und erleichtert den Alltag. Ich möchte diesen nützlichen Helfer nicht mehr missen.

I wouldn’t call it a steamer, it’s basically just a portable iron, and it's important to mention that it's heavy. As a steamer, it’s really bad. It doesn’t steam properly, because you still have to iron your clothes afterwards. So what’s the point of steaming them at all? And even as a portable iron, it’s heavy and bulky, there are much smaller and lighter options available. Unfortunately, this was a waste of money for me.
