I bought this fan during the heatwave and it’s powerful compared to the same items but in plastic. It’s great value for money and looks very pretty. It’s durable and would definitely buy again

Very happy with this fan, puts out a decent breeze! It runs quiet but on oscillating mode it seems to queak a bit. Timing function is great, means I can leave it on whilst I fall asleep without worrying about leaving it on all night. It's a nice sleek design, will be easy to store when summer ends. Didn't come with a remote control as it says which is weird. Not that I'm concerned as I didn't notice it was supposed to until writting my review!

Nice fan which I recommend. Powerful blower. If anything it could do with another setting lower than the lowest but that's minor criticism. It can wobble a bit on its rotating base but apparently they all are like that. Good product. I wanted something as simple as possible so that I could use it with a smart plug to just turn it on and off remotely when needed. Yes you can buy Smart fans linked to Alexa but they are expensive. I already have umpteen smart plugs and temperature sensors, so this was the best way for me to do it.

This fan looks pretty good from a distance, but it looks pretty poor quality close up. The switches feel loose and the dial on the top wobbled alarmingly. However, the worst thing about it was that when switched on it generated a really unpleasant high pitched whirring/rattling noise. I wasn't expecting it to be silent by any means, but a lot of budget fans have a noise that is fairly constant and kind of drops into the background almost like white noise. The sound of this made it genuinely quite uncomfortable to be around.

I bought 2 of these fans for 2 bedrooms however one of them stopped working completely after just a month of usage. Amazon was great and let me return the broken one. The other one is still going but i'm a little weary that the same fault may happen to it. The working one is great, it provides great airflow and seems good quality but time will tell if the same thing will happen to this one. At least there's a 3 year guarantee if anything does happen.

The reviews on here are critical to making an informed decision, but sometimes I really despair with the hyperbolic claims people make. I looked at about 100 fans, meanwhile roasting in the heat wave. I kept coming back to this Tower fan because I liked the look, that it's a British brand, and seemed sturdy. But the reviews about how LOUD it is put me off. Finally I ordered it and it arrived yesterday. My husband put it together, so I can't speak to that facet, but it has a lovely retro look that suits our home. I like that it's mechanical with no fancy digital remote, etc. But most of all I want to say it is NOT LOUD. I wonder if these loud posters have ever owned a fan before?

First summer in the UK, bought this fan because my mother said Tower is good.I don't if the delivery guy threw it or other thing happened the fan came with tiny part of blade being slightly damaged. The shock absorption foam inside the package is shattered as well. I decided to flatten the damaged part a bit then assembled it.The fan is very loud on lowest setting. I'm typing this review with my normal headphone on listening to music and still hear the sound of it.I don't know what motor this fan is using but certainly not a good quality one. I used to live in Asia where I had fan made in Japan and it is super quiet with decent wind flow.Go for it if you don't care about noise. Avoid it if you're noise sensitive like me.

I really like this fan. The colour is great, and its very quiet when on, and it is heavy, which I like, because previous fans I've had that were plastic always broke after a couple of years, due to sun damage and plastic fatigue. This metal fan is better.
