Real Strawberry Taste / Not chemically at all
I'm shocked at some of the reviews about this tasting horrible. Especially if they are familiar with all natural and whole food ingredient type shakes. I have been trying to find a strawberry plant-based protein shake for a long time, but they always taste like chemicals to me. The first thing I celebrated when I opened the bag, was the smell of real strawberries, nothing fake about it. Anyway, I took this to the gym to drink after cardio and before weight training and boy did it keep me feeling satisfied way beyond my workout time. So, the strawberry taste is mild, probably because it has so many other amazing ingredients in it that it doesn't taste like pure strawberries. It drives me crazy when people complain about grit in a plant based shake. It is like saying water is too watery, but I will say this shake is smoother and thicker (with just water) than most. I love it and I can't wait to try every flavor. The ingredients are awesome and i am just really thrilled with it. Price and all. You get what you pay for, and I do not mind paying more.

Whole Ingredients, Total Nutrition, Great Taste
Don’t let reviews that say this shake tastes bad deter you— I’m convinced those users do not understand what this product is and are expecting a nutrition supplement to taste like a milkshake, which it just doesn’t, and it also shouldn’t. Vega used to be my brand of choice bc it was always the least artificial and sweet tasting to me (I find a lot of protein/nutrition shakes taste overly sweet and of fake sugar, especially plant-based ones, which I personally find very off putting). I finally decided to bite the bullet and try Ka’Chava after resisting forever, mainly because of the price… and I’ll never drink anything else. Not only is it superior in taste, but in terms of nutrition and whole body health, there is nothing else on the market that competes. Compare Ka’Chava’s ingredients to any competitor and you’ll immediately see that you get what you pay for. All whole food ingredients, nothing processed, no additives. As a recovering vegetarian (7 years vegetarian, easing back into an omnivore over the last year), the main reason I started drinking shakes was to ensure I was getting enough nutrients and protein. This is the only shake I have ever had that actually makes me full and keeps me sustained throughout the day— I definitely attribute that to the ingredients and formula. Many people don’t realize that in order for your body to absorb nutrients and vitamins properly, they need the support of the other naturally occurring vitamins, nutrients, and calories that accompany them in nature. For example, your body absorbs vitamin A more efficiently and completely if you eat a carrot as opposed to taking a vitamin A supplement with a glass of water. Because Ka’Chava derives its high nutrition content from all whole foods, your body is actually able to utilize all the nutrition you’re consuming in this shake, and that alone is why in my opinion, the price is reasonable and worth it. I started this review by saying this doesn’t taste like a milkshake, and honestly, imo it’s better. It tastes “whole” and unprocessed, and it’s delicious. I understand everyone’s palette is different but honestly, drinking a milkshake in the morning, as many reviews have suggested that they’re after, is just an unappealing thought to me. If you’re looking for something that will nourish and sustain you that also tastes good (but like what it should), then Ka’Chava is it, hands down.

Ka’Chava Review – A Game-Changer for a Busy Home Health Nurse with IBD
DISCLAIMER - I wrote short novel here but it’s warranted I ordered my first Ka’Chava bag through Amazon, and delivery was smooth—actually arrived earlier than expected. As someone with IBD, I was especially relieved to find no GI issues—huge win right out of the gate. I’ve tried it both with milk and ice-cold water (1:1 ratio), and both were great. I haven’t added any extras yet, though I may experiment later. The taste and texture are enjoyable as-is. Yes, it’s on the pricey side—but if you’re a regular at fast food places or coffee shops, it actually balances out or even saves money. I used to spend $15 per fast food stop, five days a week—that’s $300/month. Two bags of Ka’Chava cost me about $160 and last just as long. For me, that’s a bargain. I’m a home health wound nurse and on the road from 10 AM to 7 PM. I’d become a gas station food regular—convenient but terrible for my gut, weight, energy, and mood. Not great when you’re trying to provide care to fragile patients. Ka’Chava has helped turn that around. I started with half a serving because I usually skip breakfast (easy nausea). No nausea! The half shake did leave me a bit hungry by lunch, so I tried a full serving the next day—sipped it slowly and stayed full until 6 PM. Fantastic. Bonus tip: If you’re looking for a great shaker cup, I highly recommend the Helimix—no clumps, no shaker ball, and super easy to clean. I love my Ninja, but this cup does the job with minimal fuss. You can find them on Amazon. I also take fewer supplements now, and even my usual prescription med nausea has disappeared. The nutrient density in this shake is doing something right. Bottom line? Ka’Chava is worth it. Nutritionally, financially, and functionally—it’s been a real lifesaver for me, and I’ll be sticking with it.

Expensive but best of the 5 protein powders tested - beware the chromium
This protein powder was very good though expensive. No gritty texture and the chocolate flavor was unique and very, very enjoyable even if it didn’t pop like the flavor of a good chocolate mousse. This shake also seemed to have the best staying power - curbing appetite for a good 3 hours… but then again it had double the calories (meal replacement) compared to the competitors tested. Clear winner of the 5 protein powders I tried (Kachava > Shakeology >> Flip >>> Truvani >>>>>>> Sun Warrior.) I worry a bit about total heavy metals consumed (chromium) if eating more than one or two per day. Other nutritional content seemed far superior, as described on the package label.

Fabulous Chocolate Flavor Satiates
I was skeptical about this product because of posts regarding taste. I picked the chocolate and I was ecstatic about how delicious it was I used a personal blender cup so I could drink in my car. It mixed up great and was very smooth using cold water. I love all of the nutrition it has and I need this better nutrition. My stomach was content and I was satiated for hours! I felt really good and didn’t feel like I needed food. This will help me avoid drive throughs when I am on the road. I don’t complain about the cost because at $70 for 15 meals, this is a savings compared to what I have been paying for unhealthy choices for some meals.

Great product
Delicious and filling. Great with ice water and even better with oat or almond milk. I add berries, bananas. Taste is great- not excessively sweet! Great ingredients.

Tastes good, but Sodium & Calories Extremely High
The taste is good, I especially love the Chai. Protein also great & all the vitamins. My only 2 issues is the extremely high sodium & calories. I get some people dont mind the high calories esp if using ice & water. I like Almond or Oat milk. Also, some people who use this as their only meal wont care either. It just depends on u individually & your needs/wants. I on the other hand am an older person, over 50 whose trying to use it just once in the morning in hopes of controlling my hunger & at least making it till noon-1 before having a healthy lunch, so as in the long run- controlling my hunger, eating better & trying to loose weight. So, the start out calorie intake is quite a bit. I also have high blood pressure, & with the sodium level being extremely high, it's not the best for some1 really trying to watch how much they have. If 1 person has more than 1 of these a day, it's almost putting u over the top. -And thats not counting any other food sodium level intake. I get it- once again- each to their own, but even younger people consuming more than 1 packet a day will have issues later in their life. The taste is good & unless u put your liquid in a blender 1st, then the powder & blend it right away (add ice after 1st blend), u will end up with lumps. Otherwise, it blends good.

Its pretty good, with the right steps
The pictures show it being used with water, but trust me, just use milk. It has a good flavor but with water it really clumps up more than it disolves and it just tastes like watery powder. The flavor really gets nuked. Once I used almond milk it started to taste very close to a starbucks/dunkin quality. Its like a solid 8/10 or maybe a 9/10. Its more of a “zip” matcha with a hint of the tea bite to it just a tad. It does also have the protein powder taste mixed in, but its really not bad. It is tough to hand mix, I definitely recommend a blender/bullet. Even in a protein shaker it does not get all the clumps and they settle if you don’t drink quickly. With a blender and some milk this is pretty solid. Not life changing but a good pick.
