The fit of this mattress protector is perfect. Stretches across our king sized bed with ease and the quality is amazing. We have dogs and kids and need the protection of a mattress cover just incase there’s ever some unexpected accidents or leaks. This cover is silent and doesn’t make a peep. This does fit our cal king mattress; was a little worried based on a few bad reviews. The bamboo side is soft. It’s very light weight. It washed well in a gentle cold cycle. I would not put a waterproof pad in the dryer since it will most likely break down the waterproof material. I line dried it outside and everything is fine. So hopefully if there are any accidents/spills, the waterproof pad does its job! If not, I’ll repost.
