Bought this to replace original Spacegard/Aprilaire 2400 filter with the combs in my attic. I have to army crawl to get to the unit and with the duct work I could barely pull the original filter in its plastic housing out of the slot. At first I foolishly thought the Honeywell would fit inside the plastic housing. This showed me what it would be like to replace with the original accordion filter and reinsert the combs. Not impossible, but a bit tedious.The honeywell was nice in my tight space because I could fold one part or another to squeeze it in. Initially it looked like it wouldn't slide onto the central tracks, but with some finagling I got it started. There was another sticking point at the middle of the filter that required more adjustments. As others have commented, this occupies less width than the original style filter. I suspect that it has less filtering area but the cost and convenience are worth it to me.

Super easy to install. I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to using the accordion style filters again. So quick to put in!

I have been using it here filters for h past few years. They are not as thick as the Aprilare filters but seem to do just as good of a job at a better price. I change my filters between 4 and 6 months depending on the season, with spring pollen so terrible this filter does a very good job filtering it out of the airin my home.

Works perfect with my SpaceGuard 2400 system. Length is fine and width is a tad smaller, but still functions correctly. This beats manually placing the filter in with the plastic holders on the initial filter.

Arrived timely, fits perfectly!! The tracks on this filter hold it in place better than an equivalent size filter.

Seems interesting, pops up and slides in. Seems to have a bunch of hot glue and folds tht keep it together. It fits fairly well in my air cleaner but is not easy to pull back out and try not to destroy in the process, gets hung up on the rails. Not as thick as other filters but will have to see how it performs throughout the year. I'll probably go back to a regular filter due to the flimsy nature of this.

Pops up easily and slides right into the unit. It is not as thick as the cassette with the comb-separated pleated filter, but takes only seconds to install. I'll definitely use this type of filter from now on. It's worth a few dollars more not to have to pull out the dirty pleats and reinstall clean ones in the cassette.

The unit arrived within a couple of days, very easy to shape to fit in the filter housing unit. Do note that it will not fit in, nor is it required, to be used with the filter frame, how the original 2400 model filter worked. No teeth, no removable box frame. Very easy.
