PETZL BANDI Chalk Bag - Round Chalk Bag for Gym, Sport, and Trad Climbing

There a ton of chalk bags available on Amazon that leave a small gap when closing them. If you use very fine chalk this leads to chalk leaking out of your bag when you throw your gear into your car. This bag doesn't have that problem! High quality materials as well.

It’s a bag that holds chalk. The loops allow you to rack it to your haul loop or you can use the included strap to clip it around your waist. Nice quality and the drawstring closes tightly enough to not spill chalk in your gym bag. It hasn’t made me a stronger climber though so I dunno what’s up with that.

Bag pattern looks nice and seems well made.Opening is on the smaller side, and I can’t just reach into the bag for chalk. I have to pick it up and hold the bag with one hand to support shoving my other hand inside. If your hands are large, this is harder to use one-handed.I have another bag that doesn’t have this problem.Also, to get the drawstring to fully close the top, you have to really crank on it which causes the bag to bunch up all around. It’s just one of those things that you notice.Might be good for thin climbers, but I got it to use with kettlebell workouts and it’s mildly annoying.

Surprisingly deep chalk bag, cinches well - haven’t had any spillage so far when completely tightened. I like the soft interior, some bags feel too soft and flimsy, it’s soft to the touch but you don’t have to fight the bag to get to the chalk as much. I had the older bandi w/ the grey rim and strap, I’m happy with the new one as well. the new rim is a lot more firm, could be annoying on longer climbs but it’s nice for accessibility. Petzl is a go to brand for me, would recommend.
