My hermit crabs love them
My hermit crabs tore these up! So they must be delicious. I don't know because I'm not a crab. But they seem happy with them. They are good quality, packaged well, and quantity as described. It is a good value for how many you get.

Recommended by many, but I've never once seen anything eat them
It's important to feed your bottom-feeders and snails and such with a quality nutrient block once in a while to make sure they are getting all the nutrition they need, since algae/detritus usually doesn't quite cut it. I've seen these specific blocks recommended by many respected people in the hobby. However, despite going through a dozen or so of these, I've never once observed anyone eating them. Everyone prefers the algae/detritus in the tank and completely ignores these blocks until they slowly dissolve into nothing. Hopefully they are getting the nutrition from them indirectly by eating the algae and biofilm that the dissolved blocks are feeding.

Hit with Snails and Shrimp
These have been a hit with our snails and our shrimp. I see all of them chomping away at various times. They don't dissolve otherwise, which keeps them from clouding the water. The snails shells looked a bit rough when we first got them and are now growing much better. I will definitely order these again.

Blue? Mixed reviews from the snails, possibly affects water parameters
The blocks are blue - not white, as shown in the photo. The back of the package says the blue color is due to a plankton called Spirulina. Never having tried these blocks before, I tend to wonder if the blue color/Spirulina is indicative of a new formulation. I bought these for my snails, but at this point I don't feel comfortable putting these in the aquarium until I know more. I'll bring them to my local fish store to see what the folks there have to say. If it's thumbs-up, I'll give it a try and will update this review accordingly. UPDATE (12/23/24): I did put a block in each of the aquariums (they turned from blue to white as soon as they hit the water). The Mystery Snail checked it out a few times and nibbled at it, and the Nerites weren't interested at all, but the tiny bladder snails loved it. I did notice that my pH and GH levels increased - I'm unsure if that has to do with the blocks or not, so I've removed them for now to see if the levels return to normal. Each block lasted about 5 days (when the Bladder Snails finished them off), so I put a second block in each tank. They didn't disappear as quickly this time, and that's when I noticed the increased pH and GH levels. If I use them again, it will only be if it's determined that they don't affect the wats.

My shrimp love these
When I add these to my shrimp tank they go crazy! I also have nerite snails in the tank and I have noticed that their shells look so much better due to the added calcium (very shiny and the white patches are disappearing). They are too big to put a whole one in my tank (I only have about 20 shrimp right now) but they cut easily so it makes it very easy to put pieces in the tank. I will be buying these again.

Baby shrimp love it
I toss one of these into my shrimp tanks about once a week, they seem to really like it. I often see the block covered in little baby neocaridina shrimp. I also feed other foods as needed, but this is a fun way to get your shrimp to come out for you to see them.

Alright
They’re alright, my snail aren’t interested in them though.

Ignored by all
Not one single occupant of my tank showed the slightest bit of interest in these.

Shrimp (and snails) love it
Happy shrimp, happy nerites. 3 days is about right - after 3 days, the block basically loses cohesion. I suspect you could probably stretch it to four or five days, depending on who exactly is in your tank. I know the bladder and nerite snails seem to appreciate it even once it has collapsed.

Good for vampire shrimp and bamboo shrimp.
Its will feeds ur vampire shrimp or bamboo shrimp. I only use this for a while now and its very good. Ive use it on smaller tank and dont put the whole cube. Cut it in half with a sharp knife. Or its could change ur water parameters. Overall all my shrimps like it. But what really good and cant find anywhere else is they added plankton&spirulina together make it a very wanted product easy to deal with for aquarium.
